As the hedgewolf picked up the gem again, the amber hedgehog
listened carefully to the hedgewolf's theory of the gem, nodding
in seriousness to the last few words in agreement to him. Now I
understand...the gem uses the power of sound, and when it is
full of sound energy if dropped or messed with in a brash manner
by the person touching it... it'll release the energy by
emitting that horrific noise and the sonic boom. But the wielder
of it is unharmed, as well as anyone else within two feet of
them and the gem. And Ember and her sister mentioned that the
gem is 'the key to ensure our victory and your failure', she
summarized in her mind, now noticing a new person -a crow-
behind the hedgewolf.
Then she looked in surprise as Lightanis requested her weapons
from the crow after he took the gem from the hedgewolf,
wondering whom this was. I didn't see him at the festival! But
Lightanis and the hedgewolf seem to recognize him though... she
thought, continuing to remain silent for a little longer.
Then the hedgewolf took the gem back from the crow, and began to
explain what the Mist-Locks were like, then he said something
about them having to protect the gem as well as using said gem
as an advantage, and that was when she spoke. "How are we to use
the gem as an advantage?" she asked nervously, her indigo-purple
eyes showing a hint of uncertainty at her own words as she then
looked at Lightanis as the female phoenix spoke to the crow,
then at the crow as he attempted to take the gem again from Ty.
She cleared her throat at the crow to imply to Ty that the gem
could no longer be in his bag, but she frowned at the crow's
comment about their situation as he pocketed his hands into his
jacket. Then Darkenlight also seemed to notice, and Lightanis
glared at him before he said a deal, and then she only nodded
again in agreement to Darkenlight.

The Hooded Crow didn't seem Phased at the attempt of being
Imposing towards him.
"A bit... prejudiced aren't we? I mean you have wings... That
might be another can of worms." He scoffed as he tilted his
head, leaning forward a bit, "See that's where you need to
reassess your ideas. There shouldn't be any idea or inclination
of a side."
He then leaned back, "What side are you guys again? In your own
words... What so called side is this supposed to be? The 'Good'
Side? Has it ever occurred that there might be more to all of
this...?"
He tilted his head again, hands still in his pockets as he
sneered, "Why would a large scale performance group suddenly
swindle a whole city, then a whole bunch of others..." He looked
to Ty, a bit of a smirk, "If you're talking about different
universes... what exactly would goods from this one be in
another?"
He glanced at the other hedgehog and raised an eyebrow, "Hey, I
think your friend might be getting a cold or something."

"No, I don't have a cold. I just feel that you shouldn't be
putting your hands in Ty's stuff," Lori answered promptly, her
snappy tone back for another round as she indicated the crow's
pockets with a nod towards it. The amber hedgehog then shook her
head, once again baffled at her snappy toned voice and her words
just... tumbling out. I think I've been around Sonic too
much...even thought I only was in his presence for a short
time... she thought, while her eyes remained looking at the
crow.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He replied bluntly.
"Besides, I am pretty sure those two ladies who were gonna
sing... said it was theirs."
He pulled his hands out of his pockets, showing both hands,
almost like a magician's
Then pulled at his sleeves, then pockets, showing all were
empty.
"Are you sure you don't have a cold? you sound delirious."

"I suggest you return the gem now, crow. I know you have it; I
saw you reach into Ty's bag, and you are acting as if you do not
have it, so you are lying, and you have it," Lori replied in the
same snappy tone. "And I am sure I am fine, I'm not delirious!
If I was, I'd be mumbling about random stuff, but am I? No."
With that, Lori then added, "And that gem, by the way, is ours
now. It isn't theirs anymore, you thief," as she narrowed her
eyes for a moment, her snappy tone hinted in every word she
said.

The crow blinked, a bit surprised at the Hedgehog, then
actually.. laughed.
"Ah... To be young. And Naive..." He cracked his neck, "I just
proved that I don't have it. Can you prove that I do besides
speculation? "
He tilted his head, "But it's great to know that Frost's
little... buddy group thing... certainly has its crazies in a
row."
He glanced over to Ty, "Brings back Memories right?"

"There's other ways to find out if you have the gem or not.."
Lori said to the crow, eyes still narrowed. "And I'm not exactly
naive, for your information," the amber hedgehog added,
unintentionally raising her voice a small bit, not to the point
of yelling. After saying that, Lori sighed and closed her eyes
for a bit to think as she crossed her arms.
Why would he take that gem again from Ty? Maybe he's someone
else we shouldn't trust either... But the crow and I cannot snap
at each other like this forever..., she thought, opening her
eyes and saying in a un-snappy and quieter tone to everyone,
"But, in consideration, we can't stand here forever...even if
the crow may or may not have the gem."

"cease speaking as we do not have the time to bicker like
mindless fledglings, if the crow has the gem. It's in good
wings, crows don't let shiny objects out of their hold easily."
He lowered his wings and crossing his arms, snorting again only
a few embers flew out.[/font]

The hybrid opened up his bag and the diamond was indeed gone he
was just about to ask who took it but it seems Lori already
called someone out on it particularly Lyric. He silently watches
them bicker on whether he stole it or not but it appears they
have decided to stop and settled down so he shook his head and
sighs then folded his arms and tapping his foot. Its painfully
obvious he is not impressed by what there doing and was just
going to say something until Darken stepped in and took the
words right of his mouth.
He then turns to the rest of the gang. "Good..now that is out of
the way...Linus just reminded me that the pop stars claim the
stone is theirs..they also mentioned it was a family heirlum
which means it is passed down from generations..plus its already
established they are Mist Lock members" he walks over to a Pink
and Purple concert poster and he pulls it gently from he wall.
"We are all going to pay a visit to the Library" he said to
everyone.

Fair enough... Maybe we can learn more about the gem when we get
out of here... Lori thought, keeping her mouth shut at
Darkenlight's comment at her -though she didn't like him calling
her 'Hedgehog of Amber' all the time. She then uncrossed her
arms, and then she nodded once to Ty in agreement as he took the
poster off the wall. But for a moment, she glared at Darkenlight
in a 'I-know-that-and-you-shouldn't-say-it-so-rudely' look, then
quickly turned back to Ty's direction.
