Part II: Pink & Purple:Preforming Today Only! (ARC)

(Continues from Monster Within Thread)
As the group reached the city they took a rest outside an
abandoned shopping center. Sign out the front read "Paradise
Falls Shopping Mall- Pink & Purple preforming today only!" An
upbeat electric guitar riff could be heard coming from inside.
The rockin music echoed out into the open as the automatic doors
shot open calling the adventures inside. At the center of the
vast shopping complex was a stage with speakers. In the
spotlight center stage were the sisters Ember and Topaz
Valentine who made up the rock band Pink and Purple. Topaz was
wearing a purple shirt and black pair of torn up jeans,while
jamming on her guitar whilst also occasionally pressing notes on
a key bored. As Topaz was creating a funky beat the pretty and
proper Ember stood at the forefront. She was wearing a
futuristic dress that almost seemed like a mix between body
armor and a digital warrior cosplay. The dress had tiny pink
shards revolving around it as she grasped the microphone.
Ember's shiny and flawless pink hair bounced back and forth as
the large swirly curl in her fringe was blowing from the air the
doors let in. She grasped the microphone and started to sing in
an energetic pop rock style.
♪"Whooo ohh yeah. Rolling around at the speed of sound,
Got places to go, gotta follow my rainbow.
Can't stick around, have to keep moving on,
Guess what lies ahead, only one way to find out!
Must keep on moving ahead,
No time for guessing, follow my plan instead.
Trusting in what you can't see,
Take my lead I'll set you free." ♪
The shopping center surprisingly enough was untouched it still
contained all of it's items and merchandise. It was three floors
high and had an assortment of shops everything from a comic book
store to a fitness farm.

Sonic looked up noticing the sign. "Pink N Purple.....I've met
those girls before. Topaz and Ember wasn't it?" He asked himself
as he dashed into following the source of the music. Still
holding Ty around his shoulder he quickly ran off to the food
court and headed back grabbing A chair for TY before placing it
behind him. Sonic now hands free looked up to the girls rocking
out onstage. He couldn't help but smile he liked this jam. Once
he caught a glance of the girl in pink he couldn't help himself
as he turned a light shade of pink himself. He started tapping
his foot to the music not even aware as he couldn't take his
eyes off Ember. She was one of the prettiest girls he'd ever
seen. While it was true Karahl was Sonic's current squeeze it
didn't mean he couldn't simply admire other girls when he was
alone. Sonic seemed pretty happy as he lost himself in the
music.

Topaz noticed they had caught Sonic's attention, she replied by
looking his way and shooting him a wink. She jammed out the next
verse by by plucking the strings and hitting the keys faster and
faster. She soon expected the others to follow so she danced
over to the amp her thrashed jeans tight around her legs. She
turned the sound up to eleven and jumped atop the speakers
playing louder and louder.

The super soldier is resting on the chair giving him some time
to recover from his injuries although he wouldnt be at a
hundered percent healthy condition considering he doesnt have
any medical supplies on his posession so he just gonna have to
tough it out for this entire ordeal. He didnt notices Sonic
already took off to go have some fun on the stage to enjoy
himself and instead pulls out the mineral once more to stare at
the word phase emitting from the stone.
He is aware of the two rockstars playing there tune and singing
out the lyrics but due to the hybrids mission driven mindset it
appears as though he is paying more attention to the object him
and his allies retrieved from the temptress. "Hmmm.." He also
doesnt seems to mind hearing the song finding it to be rather
catchy.
He's attention then shifted to the dynamic duo with both of his
ear flickered to the music being played louder and louder on the
speakers which causes his ears to fold themselves and has a look
of slight irriation on his face wondering why did they just
crank up the volume all of a sudden. He is a little too weak to
go confront them about it so he just remained at his spot
watching the girls dance to thier hearts content.

Ember's already pink fur blushed a magnificent shade of pink as
she noticed Sonic staring at her. She lightly fanned herself
whilst jumping about making it look like part of the dance.
Getting her mind back into the game she sung a little louder as
she spits the next set of lyrics.
"Follow me set me free
Trust me and we shall escape from the city.
Follow me, set you free.
Follow me."
The gem in Ty's grasp was responding to the sound of the
singers. It soon levated into the air floating above his palms.
Suddenly the two girl band stopped shooting Ty and Sonic a
glare. The once happy expressions they had gone now stern and
serious. "Mr.Sonic I can't believe you would steal from
traveling show folk. Living life on the road is hard." She held
out her hand dropping the microphone giving an annoyed pout.
"Give that back this instant. That gem is property of Pink &
Purple." She said as she stomped her foot as this got in her way
of flirting with the blue hedgehog.

Topaz responded in kind slamming her guitar to the stage floor
in anger. She shouted her voice so sharp it could slash sound.
"Listen here you mixed up mutt. Give that here before I burst
your ear drums." She said balling up her fingers into a fist.

Sonic simply smiled as Ember went off at him. "Man she's cute
when she's angry. But why would they want the gem Vesper had?"
He thought to himself. When he heard Topaz threaten Ty he said.
"Woah easy there. We don't want another fight, our group has
been messed pretty bad so far. We went through a lot of trouble
to get this thing." What came out of his mouth was. "TURN AROUND
PRETTY LADY!!??" Sonic covered his mouth his eyes going wide
open.
(Note: Please do not make long winded useless posts where your
character stands around asking whats going on. Only post if what
you have to write is entertaining or some how drives the thread
forward. Not everybody needs to yell at the bad guy one or two
posts doing that will do.)

"Hm?" he watches the diamond leviate into the air once more
last it did last time but with a facinating twist. It seems as
though when there is music playing nearby it reacts to it
accordiantly to the sound which causes the hybrid to be more
curious about and come up with another theory.
[Interesting..so it only activates when there is any kind of
sound present..thus feeding off of it to convert it into power.
With all of the loud screeches and the sonic booms..it mustve
took in too much energy so it releases it all at once in order
for it stabilize itself.] he thought to himself.
He was taken back by surprise due to the sudden pause of the
joyful music and the once happy go luck girls are now in a state
of agrression with murdous intent gleaming through thier eyes.
They both demanded to hand them the sound pulsing mineral
particarly the purple one threatening the hybrid to destroy his
ear drums if he refuses to return it to them.
He wonders why would they want the stone that the vampire bat
gave to them..they dont have a legimate reason to even have
interest in it until one of them reveals it belongs to them. He
now believes they are in comspiracy with each other working
under Le Garent in which he deduces quickly in his mind.
The hedgewolf returns the favor with a frown of his own "sorry
ladies..but didnt you read the missing posters..if you havent
found it in two weeks..then finders keepers" he slowly stood up
from his seat makes a quip being spewed from his serious tone of
voice. He then grabs and puts away the stone in his pack.

Two similar voices were about a floor up from what may be about
to escalate into mayhem. After Fem stormed off in a rage after
the matter with the diamond the Alternate gave chase when it
became clear she wasn't going to turn back. Trying to get her to
work with them in one way hadn't worked, so she decided to try
something else. Namely a bit of time in a salon and a bit of
lunch in a Pizza Parlor.
[I]"mmmm that's definitely much better."[/I] the now relaxed
sniper had let her hair down during the pampering, it now fell
down to about the tops of her shoulders. [I]"Sometimes you just
need a better way to cool down then a way that's going to leave
you actually being agitated CS1."[/I] her Alternate told her, of
course she too had [I]carpe diem[/I]'d (siezed the moment) and
obtained some bliss herself in the form of a massage and some
nail painting from the undamaged mall. Maybe it was even the
reason she had tackled Fem's attitude with this in the first
place.
[I]"Hey, thanks for this Councillor. I oughtta find R and those
other two girls and apologise for how I blew a fuse
earlier."[/I] she said, she couldn't help but get a guilty smile
from this.
[I]"I think you'll find there's more to apologise to than just
the girls Commander."[/I] her Alt pointed out, she too was all
smiles from their mall adventure.
[I]"Such as?"[/I] Although she still needed guidance, the
hedgefox was definitely opening up to the idea of actually being
some use.
[I]"The one with the muscles. I never did catch his name."[/I]
which was surprising considering the alliance the two had formed
once.
Fem put two fingers on her forehead and rubbed for a few seconds
before coming to her conclusion. [I]"Okay. If I see them again
i'll have another go at the teamwork thing with them."[/I]
[I]"That's my girl."[/I] Alt responded, happy that her method
seemed to have had better results than the last attempt.
When the duo left the pizza parlor they were greated by the
sound of the guitars and singing being caused by Ember. A poster
explaining that PinkNPurple were performing was on the wall.
[I]"PinkNPurple hmm?"[/I] upon hearing a bit of the singing she
just shook her head. [I]"Sorry darl. But it's not my thing. I'll
tell you what though. Have a couple of hours off on my watch, go
and enjoy the tunes."[/I]
and then they turned the tunes up to crazy volume hitting the
point that the loudness literally shook the whole mall.
[I]"Flamin cheese nuzzlers, this can't be a sound that's good
for their speakers!"[/I] Fem Alt exclaimed dragging the sniper
back into the pizza parlor where it was a little quieter and
they'd be able to hear each other.
The sounds then suddenly cut out thanks to whatever the gem was
catching PinkNPurple's attention. [I]"Sounds like they blew out
their speakers. They may need your help down there."[/I] the
Alternate pointed out to Fem. [I]"I want you to head down there
and find out what's up."[/I] she said, a pair of binoculars
appeared and she handed them to Fem expecting her to appreciate
the chance to do surveillance from a distance. [I]"I imagine
you'll wish to keep your distance without setting off any
alarms, so if you can find shadows to watch from, then all the
better. I know you'll think of something either way."[/I] she
pointed out as she disappeared out of sight heading for the
other end of the mall. Seeing as she had treated her to some
relaxation Fem was more than willing to comply and rushed
herself towards where the music had been coming from. She saw
the stage set up by the entrance to the mall. [I]"Hmmmm this
could be an issue. If things turned shot-putt ugly and a quick
exit had to be made they could blockade the door..."[/I] she
thought, finding some 'artificial shubbery' in a part of the
floor (like

scene through the binoculars. She didn't need the binoculars to
hear Topaz blow a fuse with whatever was going on though.
[I]"This could definitely end up trouble..."[/I] she thought as
she scanned the bodies around the show and saw Sonic and Ty
there. [I]"Well I guess this isn't so bad."[/I] She thought
about heading for the exit before things turned to danger but
she had two promises to keep, a promise to her Alternate to help
out, and a promise to put an apology out to the group she had
troubled so much earlier. In note of Topaz's threat to destroy
someone's eardrums she began to make her way down towards the
source of it all to try and find a way to defuse the situation.

Ember was caught off guard at Sonic's loud outburst. She gasped
placing her hand over her mouth smiling slightly. Knowing the
hero she adored found her pretty and enjoyed her music shot her
onto cloud nine. She got off stage carefully climbing down and
wrapped her arms around Sonic's. With a sweet smile she batted
her eyelashes and remarked. "Oh Sonic you flatter me. Now if you
could see to returning our gem we could continue playing for
you. I could see you were enjoying it." She said looking up into
his eyes as her healthy hair falls into place covering one of
her eyes.
