       So I've wanted to talk about this for a while.

       So below is displayed is all the Sonic content I'd suggest to
       others and say is still of high quality.
       Games
       All of the classics from mega drive to Sega CD reside here. This
       is because they all contain the fun and fast gameplay Sonic is
       known for.With some tight controls and great game feel all are
       pretty much similar and really make their marks as classics.
       Sonic 4 Part I and Part II are an update done in retro
       style.They are again are fast and fun with some newer things
       thrown in.Such as the homing attack and team attacks with Tails
       in part two. These only serve to add to the experience and bring
       the retro style games back with a new coat of paint. Sonic
       Colors is here because to me it's everything I think a modern
       Sonic game should be (It also marks the point in which I think
       Sonic games started to become very enjoyable again). It's fun
       has a simple story (Sonic and Tails are bored and go to f,uck up
       Robotnik's weekend.) consistent themes and show cases the
       characters personalities perfectly. Generations carries on what
       colors started on this time with tighter gameplay sleek graphics
       and amazing SUPER high speed action that makes you feel like you
       really are moving at the speed of sound. With the combination of
       the boost and the perfect controls Generations is currently my
       favorite Sonic game ever. No other Sonic makes me feel like I'm
       moving at the speed of sound.
       Other Media
       The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog TV Series, It's wacky
       displays all the characters relatively well and is all around
       just a fun show younger fans can still enjoy to this day. Sonic
       the Hedgehog or Satam TV series, I think this show is perfect to
       me it's the best story told with Sonic ever. It's deep it's dark
       and it hints at much deeper lore and back story than you'd think
       a show about a fast blue animal would have. Sonic is c,ocky has
       a massive ego and a heart of gold all wrapped up in the best
       role I've seen him in to date Leader of the Freedom Fighters.
       Sonic has a supporting cast of friends that all play a part in
       the story are loveable and a joy to watch. Without getting to
       deep into it Tails,Sally,Bunnie,Ant and Rotor are all brought to
       life marvelously and all feel like they play an important role
       in the story and team. The atmosphere is dark and foreboding
       with the characters still light enough to bring light to the
       dreary world. Now to my absolute favorite thing about this show,
       Robotnik. He's dark he's threatening he has a loud intimidating
       booming voice topped off perfectly with his demonic glowing red
       eyes. To me this is the perfect portrayal of Sonic's enemy. He's
       taken over the world can be taken seriously and poses a very
       real threat to Sonic and his friends. His quest to conquer
       Mobius make him merciless villain who won't hesitate to enslave
       or kill. This is the kind of edge Robotnik needs and what I
       think set him above the walking joke version they call Eggman.
       To top off Robotnik he has Snivley who revives the most abuse
       and acts cowardly really extending on just how scary this
       Robotnik is. Not much more can be said other than I think this
       is the best story ever told with Sonic. The Sonic Archie Comics,
       They are pretty much a more matured extension of the satam TV as
       they are based loosely on that universe. The story is better in
       some places and the characters not restricted to a children's
       slot really come to life dealing with bigger themes and action
       arcs that really makes Mobuis come alive. My love for the last
       two can not be stated enough as this forum is based off them.

       (Side note my pet peeves I can't stand in the Sonic series are
       Humans. They make Sonic characters look out of place and really
       ruins the setting and story as it makes it hard to take Sonic
       characters seriously with them around. The second thing I hate
       is Sonic's useless s,hitty friends that don't do anything like
       Cream the f,ucking Rabbit and Vector the crocodile. They serve
       no purpose always sound like morons and just seem to slow down
       the pace or get in the way. They are fine in the comics as they
       are decent side characters and enhance the story but in the
       games I don't like em.)
       Whats your Ideal Sonic Content You'd recommend to new people and
       fans. Also type why if you feel you can convey why they are
       quality content.

       I'm going to be a bit honest here. the first time i heard about
       sonic was when i played sonic the hedgehog 1 on the geneisis at
       a friend's house. At the time i didn't know who sonic was let
       alone knew he had his own show. But i liked the game anyways.
       Later my cusin got sonic the hedgehog 2 and i tried that not
       finishing the first one and instantly i liked the seires.
       Then sonic 3 along with sonic & kunckles came up and this made
       the games very enjoyable with new characters to add to the
       story. When i was in middle school i found out that sonic had
       his own tv show which was the adventures of sonic the hedgehog
       which in my opinion was a funny show. It had action and
       adventure along with some comedy involved. When sonic
       underground came out i gave it a shot but the story wasn''t
       finished so there were a few things unanswered.
       Awhile later i got sonic mega collection which had all the
       classic sonic games i played on it. I enjoyed playing those
       games which is why i have them now on xbox live. The comics are
       also pretty good in my opinion dispite some...recent events. I
       play every sonic game i can dispite whether it's bad or good.
       Half the time i don't judge i just play for the story and
       gameplay.
       So my recommendation would be play the classic games before
       jumping straight to modern so you know what you are getting
       yourself into when playing a sonic game.
