Building my first castle ever!

I'm building my first castle ever, outisde is made from
sandstone, inside a lil' too, still got some ideas for it. Its
nowhere near done yet so keep checking it out.
Its near the spawn on the water!

ah i saw that, I was wondering whos it was. If you want I can
add protection to it that way griefers dont mess it up.

Yeah, he and you are on opposite times usually. But the sand
castle looks great. Oh, how do you protect plots?

Cal, First you select 2 points using a wooden axe, then you type
//expand vert. then you type /region define
Nameoftheprotectionhere then you type /region addowner
Protectionname Whoyouwanttobetheowner

actually expanding this way is a very bad way to protect it. If
you expand like this, it goes top to bottom. so basically it
goes to the bottom of minecraft which could be annoying for
people mining underneath far below when all of a sudden they
cant dig.
What you want to do is //expand <block amount> <up:down>
that way you can specify exactly how far down and up without it
going all the way to the bottom of minecraft or the top.
p.s. To get the wooden axe which allows you to pick points. you
do //wand

or, I could use //hpos1 and //hpos 2 with /up to select the
corners manually.
