What is your favorite caliber for each use and why?

OK guys,
What do you like to use for different hunting or shooting
situations? Of course two of everything is the right answer but
what do you really like to use the most?
Personally...
Rabbits-17HMR I have used all the small stuff and love them all
but really hard to beat the HMR for flat shooting and putting
them down in their tracks.
Prairie Dogs-220 Swift Again I use many but the Swift is my
favorite for flat and accurate. Also you never have to worry
about a follow up shot or having to go into the bush after a
wounded one. ;D
Coyotes-243WSSM A great round with incredible accuracy. If you
are really worried about the hides go with the 17 Rem but if you
want to drop them out to 1000 yards, the 243WSSM can't be beat.
Mule Deer and smaller big game-Again, the 243WSSM gets the nod.
With 107 hollow points it will take a deer down quick and is
even legal for elk in Colorado although a bit small. The
accuracy and flat trajectory make it perfect deer or antelope
medicine out past 600 yards.
Elk-338 RUM Maybe a bit of overkill but plenty of energy no
matter the range. If you have done your work and know your
rifle it has the power and accuracy to take elk at 1000 yards.
Black Bear-480 Ruger Yup, I prefer a pistol caliber for bear.
Most of the time you are well withing 200 yards and the 480 is
more than up to the challenge. Not to mention that it is easy
to maneuver if things get up close with dangerous game.
So lets hear what everyone else thinks. Give us your favorites.

I probably use my 22-250 for small game more so than anything I
own. Including coyotes. I do like using my Ruger 22/45 22lr
pistol for rabbit hunting to add some excitement into it.
My 300 WM gets most of the action on big game hunting. 0-600
yards it's a done deal. I don't have any rifle set up's to
accurately shoot beyond those distances.
MY .54 Lyman GPR has taken a lot of animals so far and it's my
favorite hunting tool because I like to muzzle loader hunt as
much as rifle hunting. It's logged 3 animals around 200 yards
and beyond.
For Steel Challenge/Prairie Dog shoot's I like my 22-250 it's
pretty accurate. This year I'm working up a 25-06 rem loads for
competitions so we'll see how that fairs. My 300 WM has won the
big game challenge twice and my 25-06 one time. April 21st is
when I'm slating the big game challenge again. I truly love my
Remington 513t 22lr for rimfire competition. I banked up on Eley
ammo so watch out Richard... LOL
For practical hunting purposes my 41 rem mag has taken elk,
deer, bear and mt lion so it has earned it's spot on my hip for
the rest of all time.
I have several shotguns and lever guns but my most used
centerfire rifles are Ruger No 1's.

I like my Savage 110 22-250 for coyotes and prarie dogs.
Rabbits I use a 32 cal flintlock.
Elk 300 win mag. But latley I really like my Savage Weather
Warior 308.
My very favorite of all is my muzzleloaders. I hunt and target
shoot with several different calibres. My 54 plains rifle I
built is my go to gun for every biggame situation. I have taken
several animals with one shot with patched round ball with no
problems. I also love my 54 flintlocks. I think I have what I
call a perfecrt conbination and that is a TC 54 that converts
fron percussion to flint by changing the barrel and the lock.
That gives me 2 rifles in one.
