Big Game Challenge August 3rd

Come test your hunting shot skills at the Big Game Challenge.
When: August 3rd, 2013
Where: Rio Grande Sportsman Club, Rifle Range Rd. Del Norte, Co
81132
Time: Shoot Starts at 10:00 AM
Cost: $20.00 Entry Fee
Rules: Center fire Rifle Cartridge 6mm or larger.
Shooters may use bi pods, shooting sticks, backpack, or any
other natural means to shoot off of aka rolled up coat or use
the canopy post simulating a tree. Prone, kneeling, standing or
sitting are all legal positions. (some shooters with physical
ailments will get to use the bench with no bags or rests).
How it works. Shooters will have 30 seconds from buzzer to make
one shot at a printed animal target 28”x42” starting at 100
yards if shooter takes longer than 2 min 30 on all five targets
the targets not shot receive a penalty. Object is to try and get
closet to center of heart, which is marked with a 3” orange
bullseye sticker. There will be 5 targets total ranging from 100
to 600 yards. Starting at closest target and ending at the
farthest target.
Cash Prize. RGSC will receive 50% of the cash pot for funding.
1st Place 50% 2nd Place 30% 3rd Place 20% of cash pot.
