Caravanserai Market Slave
Caravanserai Market, PoD ~ MPG
-- Within the Market Square, a crossroads for all the main
avenues of the Caravanserai --
says to ALL: Three girls ran by nearly colliding into a Free
Woman, the woman cried out, "Watch where you are going, slave
girls!" They twirled about her, stifling their giggles, "Sorry,
Mistress!" They cried out in unison. Kei watched for a moment,
cringing as it seemed that there was going to be a crash of
sorts and the only ones that would have gotten in trouble were
the girls. The Woman stalked off mumbling something about the
slaves needing a whipping to remember their place. One of the
guards walked by, glaring down at Kei as if she had something to
do with it, "It wasn't me, Master," she offered up with a grin.
He heard the giggling girls and followed after them. Kei stayed
where she was, kneeling in nadu upon the pillow. She was glad
that she was not among the slaves causing havoc.

Captain of the Crimson Corsair
Malora's Mate
-- Is walking down one of the many streets adjacent to the
Market --
says to ALL: "Sixty men all lost at sea,
All of them drunk except for me!
'Twas I who had to face the storm,
Without a slut to keep me warm.!
Once again, a certain Singer turned Captain is wandering the
streets around the brothels and taverns, as is his habit at
night. Partly because it is the duty of his Caste to aid in the
general spreading of joy and merriment through song and story.
Partly because it is a fine way to hear rumors that benefit his
and his Mate's business concerns. Mostly because it's fun and he
enjoys his work. Thankfully, unlike most of the besotten
residents of these streets, he can carry a tune, even if he does
sing what is popular rather than what is good and plays up his
image as a drunken Northman with his songs.

familiar voice singing, "Sixty men all lost at sea...." her
voice rang out, singing along with him. She stood swiftly,
listening carefully, contemplating which path to take. "All of
them drunk except for me!" She couldn't help but giggle as she
listened to the song. The words were easy enough to learn and
follow. She made a choice, moving out into the street, following
in pursuit of the voice. She didn't know what would happen once
she found him, but she liked the joy that the Master seemed
spread. It was contagious. She heard him in the tavern the other
night, but never got to speak to him.

says to ALL: He's standing on a corner, his voicing carrying
through the warm night air. He's clad in the garb of a Northern
sailor - simple green shirt and trousers - but overlain with the
long coat favored by the Captains of the South. The man himself
is a similar study in contrast. He's clearly of the north,
though slighter of build and closer to six feet than seven. If
most of the Men of the North are bears, he is a panther - built
for speed but no less powerful for that. Dark hair falls to his
shoulders and his beard is neatly trimmed and freshly styled. He
holds in his hands a cittern - a stringed instrument with a
longer neck than a lute - which he strums with a frenzied yet
steady pace. He cuts a dashing figure and seems to have been the
cause of the running slavegirls that were spied earlier. A small
crowd of them are gathered around to listen to the shanty and
looking on the bard with no small amount of open lust.
