       The PS became increasingly disconnected from the popular

       at the social world from above and impose their decisions. All
       this provoked a deep feeling of revolt, even anger, among
       left-wing voters... The collapse of the PS is the result of this
       rightwardization. And the logical result of this sequence is
       Macron, the ideological son of François Hollande and the
