- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
My history with the Thieves is a rather old one, as my
ex-boyfriend was part of the guild and kind of dragged me into
it back in 2008. After a long break, I came back in 2017. And
here I am still after almost 3 years.
- What is your character's name and race?
Rixly Fizzleflare is a goblin (my first ever!)
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
Rixly and her sister have known some painful setbacks, causing
them to become homeless and without a job. She is tired of not
being able to sleep with both eyes closed and not knowing when
her next meal will be. She wants to make sure that her and her
sister will be able to survive at least another year (and
hopefully longer)!
After hearing about a gang that works like a tight group, she
and her sister starting dreaming of becoming part of them. The
thought of having a safe place and a steady income sounds great
in her big goblin ears.
My OOC reason is because my main character, Dice, has been
getting so many injuries that I’m almost unable to play him
properly for half a year now. This is getting quite boring so
I’m hoping to have an alt who I can find some action on,
whenever my Dice-boy is recovering.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal
A criminal? What do you mean “a criminal”? There is nothing
wrong with finding good ways to earn money!
But if you really want to hear a story, here is one for you:
Rixly and her sister Saxx grew up in the slums of Drudgetown,
Kezan. With not much of a future in mind, they were yet able to
flee to the mainland. There they came in contact with the
Darkmoon faire, where they were able to get a job thanks to
their acrobatic skills and the willingness to do some smaller
jobs.
Their greed caught up to them and they started selling tickets
outside the fair, for bigger prices. After a while, they sadly
got caught doing it and were (not so friendly) requested to
leave the faire.
Looking for a place to live and to get some coin, they ended up
in Orgrimmar where they spend their days hoping for a more
bright future.
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Rixly is quite a skilled knife thrower, a skill she learned from
working in the Darkmoon faire.
She is also flexible and acrobatic, which helped her to learn
how to slack-line and how to use the panda-pole (equivalent of
the Chinese pole).
- How powerful is your character?
She is very acrobatic, but other than that she isn’t anything
you can call powerful. She is also still fairly young, which
makes her very inexperienced aside from her life at the Darkmoon
Faire.
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
Rixly is a character on which I want to experiment with. She is
fully killable and I’m open for every consequences that befall
her.
Of course I’m alright with conflict in RP as it generates quite
interesting stories, but I always make sure to discuss the
boundaries of the rp OOCly.
- What would your character's nickname be?
I would like something that fits with her sister, but I don’t
have any idea about it yet. I’m open for suggestions.
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
Rixly is my first time rping a goblin, so I’m open for feedback
regarding goblin rp.

Hello, and thank you for writing the application!
The character's backstory looks good, the officers have no
immediate questions, and I'm super curious to see how you'd RP
your first goblin.
We're looking forward to meet Rixly and her sister in game!
