- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
I know about you guys from roleplaying with you on Glory and
Blessed.
- What is your character's name and race?
Golgbar Wrenchson, goblin.
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
He is looking to make some moolah quickly and without too much
attention brought to him. His recent scams have drawn some
attention from the Hand of Conquest so now he seeks to lay low
while still making a ton of moolah.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal.
After having been sold into slavery by his mother in order for
her to cash out on her retirement fond a bit earlier and
subsequently surviving the Second War as a mercenary while
picking up on a few secrets of the dark arts, Golgbar hasn't
really had much choice as he has never known anything but a life
of crime, backstabbing and quick moolah. So after a series of
unfortunate events which saw him loose everything he has plus a
bit of his sanity he is now in Orgrimmar with no coin but plenty
of plans to get his grubby hands on some without him getting
hurt.
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Golgbar has a good understanding of goblin law and commerce as
he grew up in a household in Kezan which were intimately tied to
these facets of goblin life. This makes him apt at forgery,
scamming, money laundering, fencing and other grey area
financing. He also dabbles in the dark arts but mainly due to
self preservation more than anything else besides there are so
many ways to lose your soul so you might as well sell it off in
planned payments for power, right?
- How powerful is your character?
Besides being very cunning, Golgbar doesn't have a lot going for
him. He is neither too clever, nor wise and he is definately not
athletic. However he has a strange penchant of staying alive by
sheer will as he is utterly ruthless and he has a knack for
using trinkets and other items of magical origin without hurting
himself too much. His magic powers mostly stems from ad hoc use
of magical artifacts that he might acquire over time but being
broke and having lost all of his belongings that means his
magical powers are basically non-existant right now.
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
I would probably define conflict in RP as two characters budding
heads ICly. This might be in a minor or major way which could
lead to anything from stealing a character's favorite rock to
dying. Conflicts are also strictly IC for me and should not be
taken OOC unless it is to discuss a way to make the conflict
even more enjoyable for both players.
I am all about conflict RP and I like to fully roleplay out the
consequences of my character's actions. As such I accept any and
all consequences though I would prefer to discuss things such as
death or mortal injury beforehand just so a death has some
interesting meaning to Golgbar's and other characters' story.
- What would your character's nickname be?
Gremlin or something else. I am open to ideas.
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
Golgbar is here to shake things up and create a lot of chaos
which hopefully will make himself and perhaps even the thieves
rich in the process.
- Story or IC letter (optional)
Golgbar took his first step of the zeppelin. He didn't feel too
good and quickly puked over the railing of the zeppelin tower
much to the amusement of Horde soldiers which had been riding
with him. They had found far to the north of the Storm Peaks
just south of Ulduar in a small cave as the soldiers had made
their way to protect or collect some sort of strange artifact as
far as Golgbar could remember. However none of that mattered
because he was back to civilization and he was going to make the
most of it! Years spend trying to scam small spiders out of
their hard earned food had not left Golgbar in a good mental
place but he had managed to fool a few of the soldiers on the
zeppelin to invest in a new market opportunity, which he had
just so managed stumbled upon in a deep dark and dank cave in
Northrend which was far far away from any sort of established
financial market, so he was not completely out of his mind just
yet.
After having given many heartfelt and gratuitous to his saviors
while ensuring those who had been dumb enough to invest in his
Fractional Real Estate scheme that in two years they would make
a 30% return on their one silver investments he made his way
downwards to the busy streets of Orgrimmar. The first thing he
noticed was the amount of undead which littered the streets in
ragged clothes and rotten body parts. They didn't seem like
prime targets for real estate as very few of the undead actually
cared much about their future, especially their financial one.
So he quickly made his way past them and over to the goblin
district which apparently had been demolished in favor of a
giant embassy for a bunch of strange new races. This didn't
bother Golgbar much as he only needed one goblin building or...
well tent for his purpose. He hurridly signed up with the
Bilgewater Cartel as a debt collector, due to his background in
law and finance, and quickly went on his way with a new ledger,
pair of shoes and pen as he ripped his contract to shreds with a
merry tune on his lips. Now was the time to make some serious
moolah!

Looking forwards to meeting the goblin on my 60's. We have no
