- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
I knew about the Sixty Thieves ever since i began RPing, via
forums and seeing the Guild around through RP. I have interacted
with the Guild on various alts in the past, and within the last
year alot of my RP has revolved around the Guild, my main being
Toz'uk.
- What is your character's name and race?
My character is a Troll called Bam'balogo.
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
He has spent a long time alone, slowly losing himself to drug
addiction and the side effects of dark magic use and so
Bam'balogo seeks out company that can look after and help him in
his old age.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal.
Bam'balogo grew up in Stranglethorn Vale, in a small Darkspear
village. He was born into a large family, with many siblings. As
time went on, he trained to become a Shadowhunter, yet slowly
began falling into a pit of failure due to growing addicted to
the various aspects of his newfound power. Years later, he finds
himself without a mentor to help him control and teach him in
the ways of Voodoo, and so he ventured out on his own, dabbling
in Voodoo whenever he can and finding himself a new way to
combat his various issues, in the form of narcotics and
hallucinogens. Present day, he is an old frail Troll who is
looking for others to help him get through the last leg of his
life in anyway possible...
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Bam'balogo's greatest skill is his wisdom and experience in
life. He is also quite adept in the art of black magic, also
known as Voodoo, however due to years of drug abuse and his old
age, he has forgotten a lot of what he once knew, making him a
mere shadow of his former self. Other then magic, he knows a
decent amount in the art of alchemy.
- How powerful is your character?
Most of Bam'balogo's power would be in the form of utility.
Rituals, alchemy and support-level magic. He is a old Troll, who
has lost much of his strength and agility, making him rather
frail and useless in a fight. His highest level of power would
be in the form of his rituals that he knows, most of which take
a long time to prepare and come with obstacles or potential
consequences, however the result can be quite rewarding should
he, and / or others decide to go forth with it.
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
In my opinion, conflict RP is defined by two Players who have
come to either verbal or physical disagreement. This can be
taken and molded into many different situations and scenarios,
all varying from different levels of severity. I personally,
love conflict RP. I get a real rush from it. I try to keep a
level head and see things out as logical and "realistic" as
possible in the various situations conflict RP may occur. If i
find myself coming into Conflict with another RPer, or even
during events, I completely acknowledge and accept the possible
consequences of the situation at hand.
- What would your character's nickname be?
Oracle
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
This character has been designed with the idea of taking a more
supportive / passive role.
