Djangosh Silversleeves - Application

- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
I learnt about Sixty Thieves quite some time back from
occasionally looking at your forum threads and seeing your
members around the place during RP. I must admit to have thought
the guild dead for quite awhile before I saw some of your
members in Orgrimmar earlier prompting my application.
- What is your character's name and race?
Djangosh Silversleeves, Goblin. Djangosh (OOC Name: Djangosh)
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
Djangosh is a no-good cheat and he knows it. He's been employed
by numerous more-or-less legal groupings and guilds which have
near exclusively resulted in him being fired or chased out for
his less than honest activities. Having been recently fired
again following an incident involving him functioning as an
accountant and money dissapearing he's now looking to join an
organisation where his criminal tendencies won't get him
expelled.
OOC As stated above I've had my eye on Sixty Thieves for awhile
and been quite intrigued by the concept. My old main on Alliance
having recently died I'm now returning to Djangosh to continue
his story and following him recently being kicked from another
guild due to the IC consequences of his dishonesty I think Sixty
Thieves would be a good direction to take him in.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal
Djangosh was born and raised on Kezan where he from an early age
was destined to take over his family's ancient Fast-Food
Barbecue business. The cataclysm putting a swift end to that as
he was forced to Orgrimmar where he took to the streets using
his barbecuing expertise to as he claims run the "most
profitable fast-food joint in Orgrimmar for eighty-nine
consecutive days". After those eighty-nine days his creditors
caught up with him as he hadn't been paying interest for money
lent to set up shop in Orgrimmar causing him to lose his
business again and setting him down the road of petty crime.
Fast forward some years he's been through numerous job positions
which always resulted in him being fired due to his no-good
nature and conmanship. Today he primarily sustains himself by
running numerous investment scams and selling stolen goods he
claims to be of great value, which usually results in him being
repeatedly thrown out of town. His longest running gig has been
masquerading as a Dentist convincing people they need their
teeth (or tusks and horns depending on race) to be checked for
near-incurable gum-infections and diseases while charging them
exorbitant rates.
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Not counting his extraordinary skill to get into trouble,
Djangosh specialises in masquerading as various professions to
make his scams seem more credible, which on occasion also gives
him acces to areas others might find hard accesing. He's quite
able to suck-up to whoever he needs to please in order to
further his goals which usually consists of quickly filling his
pockets with cash. Though primarily a Goblin of words as opposed
to physical action he's also a rather proficient burglar when
need be.
- How powerful is your character?
In truth Djangosh isn't more powerful than his victim is
gullible. He quickly found himself to be a rather inadequate
mugger and is usually found at the back of the line whenever a
fght is about to go down. If trouble is about he'll try to talk
his way out or lay the blame on someone else.
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
RP without conflict, like a story without a conflict, wouldn't
be a true story at all. The possibility for repercussions from
Djangosh's victims gives reason to carefully consider how to
approach a specific individual and whether or not they're worth
messing with in regards to their liability to react violently.
Conflict has been a driving factor in my RP of Djangosh as he
usually can't seem to stay with one guild for very long due to
his constant scheming and scamming causing him to move from
place to place in order to avoid people he's messed with before
and to seek new profitable pastures once an opportunity has been
taken advantage of.
- What would your character's nickname be?
Barb - Short for Barbecue
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
Not that I can think of.

We have no questions to ask you that need to be asked on an OOC
level and can happily approve this application, and move onto
roleplaying and initiating something IC.
