- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
After so many applications, I can only determine this question
isn't fair. I still haven't learned about the Sixty Thieves.
- What is your character's name and race?
Ilyriniel Cinderstep, Blood Elf
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
She needs access to drugs to sate her addiction. And she needs
people to watch over her when she sleeps.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal
They've always been a criminal. Born in Silvermoon to a couple
abusing fel, alcohol and various recreational substances, she
spent more time wandering the streets than at home. Her time at
home was mostly unpleasant, too, but she still loved her
parents. A former Farstrider named Annythala Eiderdown began
teaching her martial arts and acrobatics. Her family's life
spiraled down a darker path, and eventually Ilyriniel found her
fists and natural dexterity to be her largest weapons.
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Ilyriniel is exceptionally quick and nimble. She can sprint, do
cartwheels, wall runs, long sweeping kicks and breath-taking
parkour. If I could raise her Avoidance to 30, then that'd
definitely be her signature skill, along with Acrobatics. Her
knife is only for cutting strings of coin pouches, and for
skinning rats or stolen apples. She only fights with her fists
and kicks, and has worked as a bruiser in the past. She is also
somewhat able to move quickly, and occasionally has broken a
lock or a window pane to get into places. She knows no magic and
won't talk to mostly anyone - let alone trying to talk her way
out of a bad situation. She is completely fearless, however.
Well, almost.
- How powerful is your character?
Obviously, fists are no use against armed grunts. She'll try to
parkour and run her way out of trouble, although has temper.
It's actually the one thing she fears, as she risks losing
control, and going too far. Luckily, she has good life decisions
to help her, such as substance abuse, with being relaxed.
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
You've probably noticed by now, that the running theme of my
characters is conflict of some kind. Both that which engages the
guild, and that which engages other guilds. Rue engaged others,
Welkin engaged the guild. This character probably sets off both.
She is also a ticking time bomb, and is, from the very creation,
set to live only for a short time, determined by the
availability and dosages of drugs.
- What would your character's nickname be?
Catcher.
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
To quote my application with Rue: She isn't created to last,
she's created to make a lasting impact!
