- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
I learned about the Sixty Thieves through rp'ing around
Orgrimmar mostly, and more intimately so via the lovely
interactions we've had.
- What is your character's name and race?
The character's name is "Gar'grogh" and he is an Orc.
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
OOC: The Thieves are, from my experiences, a lovely bunch of
invested rpers and generally decent people overall. I've had
good times, and I hope to have many more of those through my
candidature in the guild.
IC: Gar'grogh has had a troubled, and rocky past experience. And
is usually one to stay where his friends are, regardless of the
enviroment. He's currently convinced, by the Thieves and his own
mind, that he has friends with the Thieves. This being "Prixxi",
"Ellie" and "Sathy" currently. He's convinced that they will
keep him safe, so he, in turn, can keep safe those he sees as
close to him.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal
As stated before Gar has had a rocky past. He was brought into
the orphanage by grunts as a young boy, his parents slaughtered
by Quilboar on their farm in the Barrens.
He grew up there without many friends, not being the smartest
and generally always getting in trouble due to his inquisitive
mind. He has had a fascination for "Worgs" ever since he saw
them, and would always sneak out at night to go and visit the
stables in Orgrimmar. He was bullied often and got into a lot of
fights, which he mostly won due to his size.
This translated into his later life, where he left the orphanage
without a clan, and much of a future to look forward to, so he
did what he did best and started brawling for coin. This earned
him quite the penny, but an equal amount of hits to the head.
And despite the sturdiness of an Orc skull, suffered some
serious brain damage over the years, mostly due to untreated
concussions and perhaps even some minor internal bleeding. He
also lost most his teeth which adds the lisp to his already
labored speech.
His short term memory is absolutely dreadful, and his long term
memory could be compared to a strainer, only retaining a very
selective amount of information.
He at one point bought a small shack outside of Orgrimmar, near
where his parent's hovel used to be, and started raising
chickens. He did this for a few more years until he woke up to
find most of them gone, and the rest butchered by an unknown
assailant. Penniless, and heartbroken, he returned to Orgrimmar
to once again resume his former ways.
More brawling. It was in this manner that he was picked up by
Ra'yan eventually, who offered him a job, and good pay, in the
employ of the Silver Branch.
A few more years past and we are where we are today, once again
having lost everything he knew, but perhaps gained a more stable
future in return.
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Gar is a decent brawler, he lacks technique but compensates with
a sturdy constitution and heavy-hitting blows.
Gar also makes excellent chicken soup.
Gar, despite his size, is fairly good at sneaking around. A
skill he retained from sneaking out of the Orphanage to see the
Worgs.
- How powerful is your character?
He's your run of the mill Orc. Not very clever, but very strong.
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
Conflict RP is defined by predetermined boundaries and the
ability to stick to these. It should always be consensual and if
that is the case, could offer some very interesting role-play.
- What would your character's nickname be?
Thanks to a lovely Goblin, he's taken a liking to the word
"Shmuck".
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
Gar is not all there mentally, but I'm not rp'ing him this way
to poke fun at people who suffer this in real life, if you feel
like I misrepresent something, feel free to give me a poke and
I'll make sure to change whatever it is that bothers you.

Hello!
The application gives very decent insight to the character, and
we have no questions to ask at this stage! However, the
character's simple nature might become something of a problem
IC, so we can not promise that Gar will get far in the guild.
Only time (and roleplay) will tell!
