- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
I knew about the Sixty Thieves ever since i began RPing, via
forums and seeing the Guild around through RP. I have interacted
with the Guild on various alts in the past, and within the last
year alot of my RP has revolved around the Guild, my main being
Toz'uk.
- What is your character's name and race?
My character is an Goblin called Cranklin Cogoil.
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
Crank seeks a way to make coin, to feed his tinkering addiction.
He has done shady dealings in the past in order to get by, he
also thinks the group could provide a good way sourcing supplies
and parts.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal
Cranklin grew up in Gadgetzan. His mother was a mechano-hog
dealer and his father was a junkyard worker. He spent a lot of
his childhood working in both his parents industries, now being
a young adult he likes to combine the two into what he likes to
call "Junkineering". Crank recently had to flee Gadgetzan for
stealing property of Steamwheedle. Now he travels the world,
looking for a place to call home as well as looking to tinker
and invent his heart out.
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Crank is mechanic by trade. He is quite capable at everything
machines, trikes, bombs and guns. He is recently diving into the
art of robotics. Aside from being a capable craftsman, he is
also pretty decent at selling items. While at times shy and
nervous around others, he finds himself getting really
passionate about what he sells, liking to learn and gain
knowledge on what he sells so as to provide a better service to
customers.
- How powerful is your character?
Cranklin is quite underpowered. He has no fighting skills
what-so-ever, be it weapons, fist or magic. Perhaps his best
weapon is his ability to craft something from mere junk,
providing makeshift weapons or tools. His ability in engineering
as a whole is also quite limited. He is good mechanic, but being
fairly young he still has a lot to learn.
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
In my opinion, conflict RP is defined by two Players who have
come to either verbal or physical disagreement and have decided
to slander or attack one another ICly. This can be taken and
molded into many different situations and scenarios, all varying
from different levels of severity. I personally, love conflict
RP. I get a real rush from it. I try to keep a level head and
see things out as logical and "realistic" as possible in the
various situations conflict RP may occur. If i find myself
coming into Conflict with another RPer, or even during events, I
completely acknowledge and accept the possible consequences of
the situation at hand.
- What would your character's nickname be?
Something mechanical sounding. Maybe "Rusty" or "Scrap" to refer
to his junkyard background.
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
Cranklin is a robot rights activist.
