How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
I've been around Argent Dawn since 2014, never quiet made the
jump too join the guild before, despite having an interest.
What is your character's name and race?
IC name = Senja OOC name = Goldbricker, Zandalari Troll female
Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
I seek to join the thieves, because I am lacking greatly in a
community that will appreciate a character I make and put my
heart, soul & effort into.
My character will seek to join, because she understands she'd be
better off under the wings of established criminals in this new
world. Her Loa can only do so much.
What is your character's background like and how did they
become/are becoming a criminal?
As a Casteless Zandalari, Senja had to make her living some how!
She took in the teachings of her Loa, and begun to fend for
herself. Having taken risks as an orphan that would have had her
exiled if she was older, she wised up and learnt how to swindle,
hustle and fix Dice Games for money too scrape enough coppers up
to live past each day. Her influences have come from the
teachings of her Loa, taking in those who are forgotten and cast
out by the Empire, she'd be a Zandalari Robin Hood if she wasn't
so dreadfully ill-equipped and poor.
What kind of skills does your character have?
Her notable forwardness and approach ability pairs with her
charisma to make her motives and hustling melt away without
notice from characters and people she will interact with. This
has allowed her to already establish and reap a small pocket of
profit within Orgrimmar's RP hub, at any point of her choosing.
She hustles and steals too feed herself and live, rather than
become wealthy. This control and conviction has also resulted in
her ability to calculate a situation with favourable snap
choices in a silver tongued or quick witted setting.
How powerful is your character?
As far as physical power goes, she is lacking severely. Senja
carries no weapons and avoids conflict/combat like the plague,
she makes her money by other means. Her "Power" might come from
her analytical observations, logical thinking and calculations.
But beyond this, she has very little power or skills.
How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
RP is like a sewer, what you get out of it depends on what you
put into it. If you'll RP a character who makes conflict RP, you
must be ready to face the backlash. Be it OOC backlash for your
actions, or a characters backlash IC from a mistake they made
that reveals them to be the cause of the conflict.
What would your character's nickname be?
Bat. When I first sat down to create this character, I
researched African folk lore and mythological creatures. The
Popobawa's name and description took my interest, described as a
bat creature with one eye, regrettably discovering more about it
lead to me shying away from directly spinning off my characters
Origins / name / mannerisms and criminal activity. But too have
the Nickname Bat, paired with her eye patch that gives her one
eye. Will be all the homage I need to remind myself of what
helped inspire her creation.
Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
I've made/created dice games too be played IC by my character,
this is how she's "beginning" her criminal RP in the first
chapters of her development and RP style. She's stolen and
fenced good before, but her Dice Games are the main source of
her income. This will be a chance to develop her into more
skills, better social RP that isn't limited too chatter over
Dice Games.
