Alt Application: - "Buck-tooth" Bill

Howdy! Hollow here pasting my Alt's Application in! Hope you
enjoy the read.
- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
I knew about the Sixty Thieves since i began RPing about two and
a half years ago. But it was only a little under a year ago when
i first came into contact with the Sixty Thieves through RP with
my own guild in Booty Bay, since then i grew increasingly
interested with the concept and idea of the guild! Now, I have
been RPing with the guild fully for about three or four months
on my main, Hollow.
- What is your character's name and race?
My character is an Undead called "Buck-tooth" Bill. He keeps his
real, full name to himself and those he holds close.
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
ICly: For most of his life Bill has rode with a gang. Due to
various events and small plots unfolding, he has found his way
to Ratchet. Here he has slowly found out about the "locals". He
suspects and thinks a lot of who is who here, though he has no
solid evidence. Besides that, he wishes to join up with a gang
once more and get back to earning some hard-earned coin! Though
he may be Undead... he still has dreams. And those dreams cost
coin!
OOCly: Ever since joining the guild around three or four months
ago on Hollow, i have fallen in love with the idea, theme and
people of the guild. I am also a sufferer from "Alt-aholicism";
a condition that affects many RPers out there. I do tend to burn
out of any one character after RPing too much on said character.
Having an alt within the guild, being completely different too,
can help battle the effects of burnout, and allows me to RP
with-in the guild, from a different perspective.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal
In life, Bill was a cattle-farmer. He worked the fields and
milked the cows. As he entered his early twenties, he got into
Horse-breeding and training. After making a small name for
himself in Westfall for his sturdy and well-mannered horses, he
grabbed the attention of a local gang. "The Coyotes". They
visited his farm and press-ganged him into joining their gang,
seeing his talent for horses as a potential benefit. In return
they promised not to go near his farm or family... Years and
years later, Bill finds himself up North with the gang, in
Hillsbrad. There, he was betrayed... and left for dead. Now
three months on, he finds himself to be a "Corpser" as he calls
it. Now on the continent of Kalimdor, he wishes to join up with
another gang to continue on as he had in life...
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Bill has a few talents here and there. For one, he is quite the
decent gambler. Or so he likes to think. Growing up on a farm
and working with horses, he has also found himself to have a
nack for animal handeling. And with that, he has learned to use
the mighty weapon that is a Lasso. From his life of crime, he
has learned to do many various things. Con, sell, steal, burgal
and shoot being just a few.
- How powerful is your character?
Bill is perhaps the least powerful character i have ever
created. His only sense of "power" comes from his trusty
revolver. Of which is old, badly dented and happens to clog up
alot. Bill can handle himself in a fight, though mostly through
playing dirty and being tactful rather then straight up brawn.
Other than that, he is much like any other Undead. Has no need
for sleep, food, drink or to breath. Yet, he has only recently
been raised ( 3 months ) and so he himself is still adapting to
these "benefits". He can be found eating, drinking, sleeping and
breathing quite often!
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
Haha! Completely butchered this question in my last App! Ahem...
In my humble opinion, conflict RP is defined by two Players who
have come to either verbal or physical disagreement and have
decided to slander or beat one another. Now, this can of course
be taken and molded into many different situations and
scenarios, all varying from different levels of severity. I
personally, love conflict RP. I get a real rush from it. I try
to keep a level head and see things out as logical and
"realistic" as possible in the various situations conflict RP
may occur. If i find myself coming into Conflict with another
RPer, or even during events, I completely acknowledge and accept
the possible consequences of the situation at hand. Even if my
character would not be, I OOCly am always happy for consequences
to say hi to me.
- What would your character's nickname be?
Oh boy. I think the possibilities for Bill are endless on this
one... The most obvious ones would be "Beaver" or "Rabbit".
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
My character has many interesting things about him. Both in
looks, behavior and background. I left a good bit out of this
App for spoiler reasons and to leave some things to be
discovered naturally... Should he find himself within the gang.
Also, thanks for the read! I know this was a long one, but i
like to be thorough!
