       Application: Kasha Twinsorrow
By: Kasha Date: January 26, 2019, 3:35 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Hello. I hope you enjoy my application and that it's fit for
       your guild. Enjoy!
How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
From quite a few places! I saw your post on the forums, I saw
you on the Turning Tides' discord, but, most importantly, a
friend recommended you that also left an application here! (
       Toz'uk, he's a great guy. )
What is your character's name and race?
My character is named Kasha Twinsorrow, she is a Mag'har orc
from the AU timeline that is part of the Laughing Skull Clan.
Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
My character is insane. You can get that from her backstory, she
is insane, as most Laughing Skulls are. She's deceitful, she
knows her way around killing, thieving and flaying ( if the
Thieves are into that sort of thing ) so what better place than
the Sixty Thieves which she heard rumours about.
As for myself, I have found myself a bit burned of the "good
guy" type of RP and, with the recommendation of my friend, your
guild seems like the right turn for me. However, Kasha is not my
first "evil" or "morally grey" ( heh ) character, she's just one
       of the few.
What is your character's background like and how did they
       become/are becoming a criminal?
Kasha was originally part of the Thunderlord Clan. However, in
one naughty winter, while her family was migrating, they were
wiped out by unknown creatures that she then killed and
proceeded to seek shelter in her family wolf's corpse, since it
was the only warm thing in the area. It's at this point that she
lost most of her sanity. A Laughing Skull found her and made her
into one herself. She was taught how to kill, how to steal, how
to torture, how to resist torture. These are her goals, since
this is the way she was raised, though her number one goal
       always was to survive.
What kind of skills does your character have?
Well, she's a Laughing Skull. She can betray, she can deceit,
she can kill, she can steal. Pretty much what you'd expect. Very
much like her volatile personality, she can be subtle and brutal
when she wants to. She likes to use poisoned daggers and "play
with her pray". However, this can turn back on her, which leads
       me to...
       How powerful is your character?
She is skilled in what she does, however, due to her
questionable rationality, she won't always make the right
choice. She can follow orders if given, however, if left on her
own, she might be brutal when she needs to be subtle and vice
versa. She can be manipulative when she needs to be honest.
She's good at what she does, though that changes regularly.
How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
       consequences?
Even though I know some people don't like it, I view violent RP
as quite alright. It's actually what defines my character ( when
she's into that state ). I absolutely love it when it comes into
play and when consequences are drawn, even on me. I had to
handle quite a few consequences over the years, such as: having
my demon hunter corrupted of Void energy for about two years
because of a mistake, having my mage almost burn down Feralas
and then almost being exiled, having my Death Knight almost kill
       a dwarf ( totally justifiable might I add ).
What would your character's nickname be?
While brutality defines Kasha, I wouldn't have a nickname based
on that, since it'd honestly be edgy. I'd go for something like
Rake, Rip, Drake... Maybe Winter? As a sort of cruel irony? That
       could work.
Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
       yourself?
Not really. I think you'll see everything by yourself if this
application seems fit for you. :P Thank you so much for the read
and I hope to hear from you soon!

Hey there Kasha, thank you for the application! I do have a few
questions, though one of them is purely out of curiosity, as
you're on Turning of the Tides, do you have any alts in
       Blackscale?
Moving on -- here's my actual question...
       1) The Sixty Thieves frown upon killing. Is this something your
orcess would be willing to give up for the band, or do you sense
some potential conflict there between them and her?

Hey there, sorry it took so long, I literally had no idea how to
reply until I noticed I wasn't logged in anymore. :D
Yes, I have an alt in Blackscale, Laura Blackthorn.
And probably yes. She is good at killing, but she doesn't go out
of her way to do so. If ordered, she will most probably back
down, though it would be interesting to see cases in which she
doesn't. It could escalate to something nice and worth
progressing. But for the start, as she's not even met them, I
think a solid "Yes, she'd refrain from killing" is enough,

       'ey up Kasha.
Reading the app I get the familiar impression of a laughing
skull. Crazy, aggressive, quite murderous. OOCly I'm fine with
that, long as any violence towards players is handled with OOC
       fairness and respect.
ICly however, despite the sixties being criminals, they have a
checkered past with the crazy type. They've been at this for so
long that they've run into countless situations where insane
people have screwed up this job or that, and so the long-time
leadership especially has grown wary of anyone with a mad glint
in their eyes. This by definition means that I promise you that
on purely IC grounds, Kasha's "marking" into the gang proper
will take longer than for most. Despite potentially amazing RP
on your part, She may also ultimately get turned down from being
marked completely, depending largely on how badly Kasha's
       insanity affects her work.
All of the above is IC. All of it is drama that we can OOCly
enjoy as Kasha does something crazy that both shocks and enrages
all her peers. But I do want to give you this special mention
before you commit to us, as we've had similar members who
ultimately felt unhappy to RP insanity in a guild like ours.
