Demlyr's application form

- How did you learn about the Sixty Thieves?
The first time was about one year and a half ago (I think),
when there was this Sin'dorei sorcerer hiding an object under
mugs and then moving the mugs about only to ask you to find
under which one the object is. The whole scheme was a scam and I
truly enjoyed this RP. Naturally I asked about the guild and I
learned more in time, although everything I heard was pretty
much vague. Few friends eventually joined the guild, so I
naturally figured out it must be a fine community.
- What is your character's name and race?
Demlyr, he is a Shal'dorei (Nightborne)
- Why do you and your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
A few days back Demlyr finally made his journey through the
desert towards Ratchet, in order to find customers and something
more, because Orgrimmar did not offer enough means of survival
for his business. There he met Laerynna and Lamb, which both
seemed interested about his cargo and the Forsaken woman even
struck a deal with him, the gold from which allowed Demlyr to
remain in the city for a few additional days. Thus he is very
interested in meeting new people to make business with, or
people that can offer him new opportunities.
I myself did not seek to join Sixty Thieves initially. But
since RP brought me there...I decided to give it a shot, if
allowed to.
- Tell us about your character's background and how they
became/are becoming a criminal
The first time was when his brother got sick and there was
not enough gold to buy his treatment. So Demlyr stole medicine
and thus was condemned later when it was found out. Then when he
used to help in the vineyards, gradually batches of bottles were
disappearing and many people got accused because of it..But
never the right people. However, the stolen bottles went to the
right people, to those that needed them in order to continue
breathing. Demlyr was one of them, or at least he comforts
himself with this thought often enough. Crime is addicting, just
like mana. You get used to it (More can certainly be found IC)
- What kind of skills does your character have?
Merchant skills, trading skills, infiltration skills,
assassination skills.
- How powerful is your character?
It depends on the situation. As a Shal'dorei, he is very avid
with magic, although more of the practical side of magic. He can
refine ointments and products using magic, can light a candle
without touching it, and other small, but useful in the everyday
life skills.
- How would you define conflict in RP, and how do you feel about
consequences?
I roleplay my character. Conflicts IC is the spice of
Roleplay, if I can express myself this way. Conflict is when the
ideologies of two or more characters clash and friction because
of this occurs. I don't mind conflicts and the darker side of
Roleplay and I accept any kind of consequences that may be
brought to my character.
- What would your character's nickname be?
I think that Nightingale might the most appropriate one
because of the IC background story that might or might not be
found via RP.
- Anything else you'd like to share about your character or
yourself?
I have been Roleplaying for a few years now and I came to
understand that I adore the criminal, shady and cultist type of
RP. Demlyr is, by all means, a Convincing Collabolator, thus I
feel that he might find his place within the Thieves.
- Story or IC letter (optional)
Getting familiar with a story can only be achieved through
Roleplay, such is my preach. I can only say...

Hey, thanks a lot for taking the time to write this application!
We've already met, already roleplayed together, Laerynna has
already offered the job opportunity out to Demlyr, so.. this was
the final seal in the deal for me!
