[Application]: Umoth the Lesser

It was a tiepid and dry afternoon, and in the streets of
Orgimmar buzzed the indistinct noise of the many tired workers
who were flying to their nests after a long day of labour. As
the sun descended slowly, folk from the four corners of the city
gathered in liquid-like masses around the Wyvern's Tail Inn.
All of a sudden a deep cry shattered the placid stillness! It
came from an elf; a tall, willowy and curious elf. He was
dressed in orcish clothes and wore many primal necklaces; and
(probably the most peculiar of his curiosities) rode a proud and
incredibly smelly kodo. His skin was pale, almost grey, and his
imposing height betrayed his origins: a Nightborne!
Come, merry folk! Gather round!
Many wonders bathed in the White Lady's light I've seen,
and all the Blue Child's forgotten secrets!
Come, have a look; but do not touch!
Wishes fulfilled, illnesses cured!
Step right up, Umoth will serve you all!
So he said, and kept on and on shouting until a small group of
folk gathered all round him. Then he began to tell, first in
rhymes and then with songs, tales of ancient ruins and faraway
lands and mysterious folk from the four corners of the world.
Umoth, for that was the slimy elf's name, sold many a magnified
kick-knack before the crowd eventually dispersed.
"We've done well, good Puerpeau," said he to the kodo. "But we
can, and will do better, I dare say."
But as the elf was busy fiddling with the wooden structure that
creaked above Puerpeau, two figures watched from afar, hidden in
the growing shadows. Troll and goblin they were, side by side,
and they were waiting for him...
[OOC Application]:
Why does s/he want to join the lowlife theft gang, the Sixty
Thieves? (And OOC, why do you want to join?)
IC: As a Charlatan and steet-merchant, Umoth is always on the
look-out for 'powerful' and influent friends.
OOC: I've had the luck of seeing some of your dudes IC and their
style immediately pleased me; so I went on the all-knowing
Google and found these forums and your Blizzard forum posts: I
was amazed!
After that I contacted one of your officers and all my doubts
were cleared! This is, in fact, a guild I'd love to be part of,
application willing.
What would their nickname be?
I'd like 'Thespian'. I surely do hope it's not taken already;
the reason for that I'm confident you'll understand soon enough
;).
How powerful is your character?
I often like to compare his own power level to the Mephitis
macroura's (your common hooded skunk!). He reeks (of kodo-musk,
since his companion happens to be one), he'll bite you if you
mistreat him and he won't if you give him a treat. Oh, and he's
also as magically-inclined as your common hooded skunk.
What's her/his background like?
As dirty and grimy as you might expect it to be (and much better
when told IC!).
How consistent is your character with following the lore?
I'm deeply enamoured of Warcraft History, as such I tend to
stick to it as closely as possible. My Nightborne simply doesn't
want to have anything to do with magic; I hope it's not too much
of a lore-****.
"Are you a killer, son/lass?"
"I wouldn't say so, old boy; and I'd like to keep my hands as
white and pure as they are now until the end of my days."
Do you accept "RP-consequences"?
I live for "RP-consequences" 8).
Any specialities s/he has? Perhaps a skill in something, a
behavioural or personality trait that can be considered unique.
Here's the good one! He can (and will!) act, dress-up, lie,
dance, sing and play his fiddle until someone knocks him
unconscious. Other than that, he owns a Kodo (called Puerpeau)
on which he lives and makes his deals!
What's your activity like?
My activity is... Well, active I guess!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write this application!
Any questions I may have are ones that can easily be asked IC
rather than OOC. And the nickname is indeed up for grabs!

As a little side-note; I've RPed with Rasavo and Prixxi this
afternoon. I can only say your guild truly has amazing RPers in
it.

Hello there!
Looks like a fun and solid character concept, with plenty of
potential for RP! Also interested in getting another look at how
a Nightborne could fit into a band of lowly Thieves.
