Application: Fryan Steelgear

- Why does s/he want to join the lowlife theft gang, the Sixty
Thieves? (And OOCly, why do you want to join?)
Prixxi hired Fryan as her bodyguard a few weeks ago, he got to
know her better and met several other gang members. He’s a young
goblin newly arrived in Kalimdor, without any particular plan
for the future and without a steady income; the decision came to
him naturally.
OOC: I’ve spent several days weighing the decision. It’s a
serious one, and I like the “lifelong membership” attitude of
it. Although Fryan prefers to think of himself as of an honest
goblin, having some inner conflicts would allow for an
interesting character development.
- What would their nickname be?
It’s a pity people in Orgrimmar have already heard Fryan being
called “Fry the Furious”, it would have made a nice ironical
nickname. I should think of something else now.
- How powerful is your character?
Not much powerful; just a goblin with a rifle, and not the most
brave one of his kind.
- What's her/his background like?
Born on Kezan in a family of engineering enthusiasts, Fryan
spent childhood in endless conflicts with his mother caused by
his reluctance to follow his parents’ footsteps.
He was in the middle of his teens when Mount Kajaro erupted.
He left his family in the arising mess and started his own adult
life in Booty Bay.
He’d spent the next five years mastering his hunting skills, but
the risky lifestyle of Booty Bay with its endless pirate wars
and wicked jungle troll neighbors kept his in constant tension;
eventually he got back on the road, looking for a better place
he could call home.
- How consistent is your character with following the lore?
I try to rely on things I have seen in the lore sources; when in
doubt, I do research. That said, I’m relatively new to the
Warcraft universe, and can make mistakes.
- "Are you a killer, son/lass?"
No. Fryan will try to avoid shooting people when possible.
- Do you accept ‘RP-consequences’?
I try to, however, Fryan is my first RP character, and I feel
somewhat emotional about him, so I’d like to avoid an overly
grim scenario to happen to him.
- Any specialities s/he has? Perhaps a skill in something, a
behavioural or personality trait that can be considered unique.
He’s a decent shooter.
- What's your activity like?
I play daily, or every other day at least.
- Additional:
It’s been only a month since I started to RP for the first time
in my life, sometimes basic things come to me as a major
discovery.
To make things worse English isn’t my native language and
sometimes I make glaring mistakes. I’m working to improve that.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write this application :D
I've RP'd with you on my alt Prixxi a lot already and have no
opposing thoughts about you joining. I find it interesting Fryan
ICly made it seem like he is trying to live an honest lifestyle
so I think it'll be entertaining to see how he deals with inner
conflicts in a guild like this.
As for nickname, maybe something simple but gobliny would suit?
"Silver"? If I think of any more I'll say!

Hey there, and thanks for applying!
I have seen Fryan out and about a bit and he seemed like a
simple, solid character - just like the impression I get from
the application.
The fact he seems himself as honest can make for some very
interesting RP indeed, as he will likely find himself in a
situation where he really needs to question his morals. Inner
conflicts are some of the most fun things to roleplay!
What comes to nicknames, suggestions that come to mind are:
Scope, Rifle, Ammo, Shot, and Powder.
