Application: Gannas Weaver-Tillman
By: Akott Date: July 4, 2017, 10:08 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Hello, this is Beast! I found myself playing my alliance warrior
alt a lot more than Beast and figured I might want to eventually
make a warrior my main so I'm starting a new character from
scratch. I got the tip that I should bring it into the guild in
favour of Beast until I reach Outlaw and then bring Beast back
in, so I'm making an application for them.
- Why does s/he want to join the lowlife theft gang, the Sixty
Thieves? (And OOCly, why do you want to join?)
Gannas is a bit of a lost soul, unsure where to be or what to
do. He has a certain amount of loyalty towards the Horde since
they took in the Forsaken when nobody else would, but his trust
waned under the reign of Warchief Garrosh and in the same breath
he started worrying about what Sylvanas was doing in her quest
to proliferate the Forsaken. Being undead is a fate he would
wish on nobody. Now, with Sylvanas as Warchief he is wary, and
questioning. He wishes he had power and wealth to change things
himself, being a bit of a revolutionary who considers that the
ends justify the means. That's why the Sixty Thieves would
interest him, a place to find himself and to accrue influence.
- What would their nickname be?
It would be Tower. His reasons are personal. ;)
- How powerful is your character?
He isn't a martial master. After becoming undead he has devoted
some time to swordplay and is reasonably skilled, but he isn't
very strong.
- What's her/his background like?
In life he was a an artist from a noble family who incorporated
gems in jewellery and sculptures as well as dabbled in paintings
and relics. He used to have a fair amount of wealth but lost it
during the Third War.
- How consistent is your character with following the lore?
I try to make it COMPLETELY consistent. If I goof I either try
to change the reasoning of even retcon. If it doesn't conform to
lore I don't do it.
- "Are you a killer, son/lass?"
He doesn't want to kill, so no. He always wants to avoid
conflict if possible.
- Do you accept ‘RP-consequences’?
Yes absolutely. Consequences are what is fun and makes things
have stakes.
- Any specialities s/he has? Perhaps a skill in something, a
behavioural or personality trait that can be considered unique.
His background in working with valuables, extensive education
and knowledge of art and history may be useful to a band of
thieves.
- What's your activity like?
It is on and off. I truggle with depression so it can really be
all over the place, without a pattern. Sometimes I'm on every
day, sometimes I'm off for weeks.
Thank you for your time!

Hey again!
Glad to see you remain interested in the guild! The app is a bit
brief, but it gives some insight to the character and answers to
the questions. A few additional ones, though: what has he been
up to since being resurrected as an undead? Has he already
turned to crime, or is it something he has only now began to
consider? And lastly, did he have any criminal background whilst
he was still alive?
Regardless, I'm willing to take this in-game to see what Gannas
himself has to say. Approved.

Poke an officer in-game for an interview.
