Reznick Sparkplug - The Application.

Hello there! I am Reznick Sparkplug, CEO and only employee of
Sparkplug Enterprises!
- Why does s/he want to join the lowlife theft gang, the Sixty
Thieves? (And OOCly, why do you want to join?)
Reznick Sparkplug is a stereotypical greedy little Goblin. He
sees laws as a thing that just gets in the way of his money
making (if the law cannot be used to his advantage that is). He
has worked as fence in Silvermoon for the last couple of years
and managed with reasonable success up until he decided to move
on as the profits there were becoming stale. Outside of
Silvermoon he noticed that without the backing of the Elf
company he was part of, he found himself getting beat up quite
frequently due to his flapping tongue and often lack of manners.
He has had run ins with the Sixty Thieves before and has found
them to be an agreeable lot so once the Witch put the perks of
joining on the table, it definetly caught his interest.
OOC wise I've been wanting to find some lowlife RP for quite a
while now, I haven't done it in a guild before but it's been
more of a personal RP thing. I've had you guys recommended to me
by "Red" (who's actual character name I just can't remember) and
from having done some RP with you in the past, I think it looks
like an interesting and fun guild and I would love to give it a
go!
- What would their nickname be?
I'm one of those modest types who can't think of a nickname for
my own characters. I'll leave that up to you guys if that's
okay.
- How powerful is your character?
Reznick is absolutely hopeless at fighting. He has had some
basic instructions on sword fighting from his sapper background
but his cowardly nature often compels him to run rather than
fight. He might be a decent shot if he doesn't look away when
he's shooting.
- What's her/his background like?
His background is pretty standard. He was the fourth brother of
twelve siblings living with a single mother on Kezan. He turned
out to be gifted with a devious cunning and used it to aquire
coin through unlawful means that didn't put himself at all that
much risk. Most of his money went to help supporting his mother
and siblings however due to his mother's wasteful behaviour and
his siblings often lacking in the brains department, he soon
grew to despise them. His mother more than the others. With
Kezan's destruction he lost the little money he already had
aswell as most of his siblings and his mother. Not knowing what
to do with his life once they reached Durotar, he decided that
the only logical way to go about things was to join the army. He
spent several years as a sapper in an unspecified unit,
narrowingly escaping death numerous time due to his hazardous
role. Once Hellscream had been defeated, he decided that army
life really wasn't for him so he decided to go back to what he
knew with the aim of aquiring so much coin that he could buy
true happiness. Without having to support his family and not
keeping in touch with his surviving siblings, how could he fail?
The Goblin set out to Silvermoon as he considered their market
to be unexploited by the genius of Goblin marketing skills and
there he stayed for a good couple of years, steadily increasing
his pile of gold until present day where he has decided to move
on.
- How consistent is your character with following the lore?
I want to stay true to the lore to one hundred percent but I'm
only human and make mistakes. Feel free to correct me if I
should make any.
- "Are you a killer, son/lass?"
Despite having spent time in the army, Reznick is almost
completely incapable of staring a man in the eye and take is
life. He doesn't think twice about roughing someone up if he
feels they need it and that he can somehow get them roughed up
but to intentionally take a life is VERY difficult for him and
he would only do it if his life depended on it.
- Do you accept ‘RP-consequences’?
Yes! A thousand times yes! I find it much more enjoyable when
actions have consequenses be they positive or negative, it's
just the kind of RP I enjoy.
- Any specialities s/he has? Perhaps a skill in something, a
behavioural or personality trait that can be considered unique.
He is deviously cunning even by Goblin standards. It takes many
different forms but he usually just uses it to maximize his
profits and get out of trouble.
- What's your activity like?
Very random, I'm afraid. I have a few IRL committments that
tends to get in the way aswell as a constantly changing working
schedule. There are many nights and evening shifts which
unfortunately has seen me miss most events in other guilds I
have been part of.

Hey, thanks for taking time to write this application!
Some of Sixty have met him already and I'm sure they'll be
vouching for him ICly.
The only question I have is, would Reznick be offering the
skillset of being Sixty's fence by joining, or would being a
fence become a less major profession to him if he joined and
instead turn to picking pockets and other general thieving
activities?
As for nickname, the only ones I can suggest for now are
"Copper, Moolah, Deal"
The activity thing shouldnn't be a problem. In this guild we
only consider e.g. kicking someone for absence when they have
disappeared for weeks without any notice whether they are just
AFK or not. IRL is always put before WoW!

Good to see the app, and it is well written as well.
As usual there is not much for me to poke here. I've seen your
character in action and I'm pleased with it.
Not over the top nor too mundane, he is just a goblin doing
goblin things.
As for nickname, perhaps Hustler? But that can be found out
during RP than here.
Your unstable activity is not much of a problem so long you do
not vanish for months without a trace. If you believe you will
not have time for awhile, a simple noticifaction beforehand
works perfectly fine, so we know what to expect.

Been a bit late to comment as other things have been keeping me
busy today.
As said above, the application is decent - well-written and
informative - and no questions come in mind that can't wait
