       Beladun 2.0
By: Janereen Date: March 1, 2017, 11:04 am

       Synathrea Ran'ethlar's application
Synathrea's early life has nothing special about it, she picked
up the bow and followed after the footsteps of her father just
like his big brother did.. Until papa Ran'ethlar passed away in
an accident, or so she was told and that's where she left it.
With her love for animals, she took many critters under her
wing, although eventually these critters got bigger and bigger..
From mice to rats and cats, to birds and eversong's own cats, to
       foxes and wolves.
Everything seemed fine, the elf lived with her brother, kept
smiling from day to day. But deep down, she hated it, still she
       didn't let herself admit it.
The routine, every day just like the other one, some may find it
to their liking but for her it was just dull and boring.
One fateful day it all came to an end, when Synathrea almost
walked to the way of a bolt shot by Sixty's (not-at-the-time)
very own resting bitchface, the man, the myth, the legend, the
one and only, Sir Scoffs-a-lot, Beladun.
Getting abducted without even knowing it, Syna followed Bel
around, and eventually she followed the Sixty around as well..
Although clearly not being aware of it.
She heard about the so-called-abduction after a few twist of
events, but the chance to see the world, meet new people was
enough to keep her away from Quel'thalas.
Plus the bonus of finally having a word in her own life and not
being told what to do and when by her brother.
Syna started to see the world for what it was, instead of being
       sugarcoated in rainbows and happiness.
And did the reality hit her hard, specially to the right eye,
and soon she found herself beating someone to a bloody pulp for
trying to steal her stuff and harming her oldest wolf.
Specially after the previous event, Synathrea questioned her
       morales.
Why bother spending so much time to make honest coin and live a
goody-two-shoes life, when there's so many who don't give a
flipping fck about it, but do as they please, steal from others
       and take what they want.
She has grown foul mouthed, arrogant and stubborn, she has been
tainted by the fiend some call Nail.
But still every now and then, although it seems less and less,
her old, stuttering unconfident self makes it way back to the
       top.
A poor pair of coins sitting on the counter, waiting for the
bartender in exhange for a cold drink, only to disappear in the
       elf's pocket.
Sure, who wouldn't mind some extra coin? But for her it started
to be more and more, the thrill, the excitement she never had in
       her life.
She started to pick pockets and locks, she started to "borrow"
stuff, maybe "accidentally" even selling them on.
It made her feel alive, the life of a thief was like a drug for
her, and she craved for more.
With her hunting skills, the jump to a shifty thief wasn't a big
one, seeing that she still had to be sneaky and agile, avoiding
       any unfortunate pair of eyes.
But after a few failed break-ins she realized that she wouldn't
survive in this line of work alone, and the Sixty were already
       close at hand.
       - Why does she want to join the lowlife theft gang, the Sixty
Thieves? (OOC reasons will be at the end of the app)
She can't survive alone in this "profession", having already
seen the Sixty quite a few times, their lot would be the best
       shot for her.
       - Her nickname?
       Fox or Pup/puppy/pupper
       (totally not recycling)
       - How powerful is she?
I aim to keep it within reason.
Sure she's able to pack a punch or two, but she'd still rather
tire out the 'enemy', or in best case scenario, get them from
       afar.
Even if she does have two wolves, a fox and a bird.
I tend to go with the in-game limits; one hunter pet and/or
       battle-pet.
But on another hand, I doubt she'd be too keen on bringing her
fluffy family to the jobs anyway.
       - What's her background like?
I think it already got cleared out of the way
Long story short though, she never liked the elven way of life
       that much
As she preferred to stay out in the woods, rather than in the
       City
After moving around for quite a while, and accepting the
not-so-sugarcoated world around her, she started to question her
       morales.
From small, almost innocent looking "cases" of thievery, to
       break-ins and whatnot.
       - How consistent is your character with following the lore?
Well, as I like to say.. I snort dat lore all day long
I might not know everything, but I'm pretty sure I have a solid
       'base'.
If anything would come up, I'll be more than glad to have it
       fixed!
       - "Are you a killer, son/lass?"
       Nope.exe
Killing animals is nothing new to her, seeing that she has
mostly been living on an arrow, as to say, making her living out
       of it after all.
She might've turned into a dirty little thief, yet she never
       wants to be a murderer.
Even if she'd be staring at the face of death, killing in
self-defence would probably be very difficult for her.
       - Do you accept ‘RP-consequences’?
What's the fun in rp if your character can't get smacked around
       after doing something foolish..
       - Any specialities she has? Perhaps a skill in something, a
behavioural or personality trait that can be considered unique.
These are probably already covered, but we can still get to it.
She's good with a bow, otherwise she wouldn't be able to make a
living out of it! .....in the past... anyway..
As an addition to the bow, she has always hunted with beasts,
       taming and training them.
Taking a look at her personality, she does remind me about Reen
       a tad..
Seeing that Syna might get all exited or riled up about
something and soon it's the most boring thing in the world.
Compared to Reen though, Syna is -a lot-.... I repeat, a lot
       less crazy.
       - What's your activity like?
       All day erryday
As in.. I think you should know by now
       - It's been a long trip, and here we are finally at the OOC
       notes
(Kinda I hope I could make this part for officer eyes and up to
see, but... eehhhh, too bad, it's just going to touch some
personal stuff since I feel like there's some explaining I
       should do)
Yes, sadly it -is- a belf, I did hear the cap has been reached
but I still threw this app on
After making the character I did soon realize that I want to
turn Syna upside-down from goody-two-shoes to a criminal.
And after these, what, two months? I thought of giving her an
app, been odd in a way not to be with ya lot.
Let's get to the serious stuff, shall we?
       Reen's exit from the Sixty...
was so fkn messy that I can't.
Instead of letting her leave the stage with dignity I just threw
her straight out of the window.
With Reen flying from the window I just picked up Greg who had
no rp on him really, and tried to replace Reen with 'im.
Character concept not even thought through, slamming a straight
up bullsht of an app on the table, and with an obvious decline I
turned my back to the world of rp for, dunno how long. ((I
really want to just go and delete his app though, 's just
       shameful))
As for irl during that time, I was a mess, the anxiety I'm
struggling with had never been so bad.
RP and as for playing overall just felt forced, like eating a
rock covered with cream, expecting something good to come out of
       it, when it's just rubbish.
My anxiety started to show up in almost everything I did, RP
heavily included, just like in Reen's case, I let IC and OOC get
       wrapped up in each other.
Well, 'till I realized that I'm just ruining the fun for
everyone, and took time to focus on my life to get it somewhat
       stable.
I just wanted to apologize for everything that happened during
that mess, from Reen to flipping a finger at her "morales" and
ditching the gang to a poorly stitched up app.
And on a last note, on Alliance, I know Rico's app isn't
actually that much better from Greg's, so just leave a note if
you want me to redo and give it some meat on the bones!
Anyhow! phew.. finally, will be looking forward to get some
thoughts on this, till then! o/

Thanks for taking the time to write this!
I like the sound of this character, especially as I imagined her
so differently from the story I heard about being
abducted-without-her-knowing by Nail - that just made me assume
she was innocent and vulnerable and naive (but maybe she was at
       the time?).
Just a random Q - is her brother a played character? And would
her going to SMC or any of Quel'thalas cause family conflict or
any other potential problem? (Not that it is necessarily
important but could cause some RP whenever we go there, even if
the brother isn't a played char)
Any other Qs I'll leave to finding out via RP. Even though Syn
       is a newly(ish)-established criminal, I'm sure a persuasive
argument ICly can convince them that it'd be mutually beneficial
to have her as part of the family.
Alliance is quite frozen in time for the minute as, with horde
Sixty's decline in activity in December, we had to throw all
attention to horde until it's 'restored'. That said, feel free
to write the app for Rico whenever you want as we haven't given
up with the intent to make alliance-sixty an official thing! I'd
love to read about Rico in the depth I just read about Syn!
       Approved
PS. I suffer from hunter-pet-syndrome too. I've accidentally
made my hunter have about 500 wolves 500 cats 500 foxes 500
everything else, and it has been soso hard to only introduce one
ICly while I try and go on a diet away from hunter pets. I feel
       you.

       Hooray for quick replies!
At first, she was in fact pretty naive, innocent and whatnot,
       but that soon changed..
As for her brother, Sethakar, he was a played character, but the
guy who rp'ed on him quit WoW some time ago.
Seth was a pretty mean brother towards Syna, and after I got my
hands on him as a character, I made him go even deeper on the
road he was already on... And now he's just a drunkard, using
his coin as soon as he gets them.

       Hello again!
The application looks well-thought-out and gives a good insight
to the character. I've never roleplayd with this character in
the past (to my knowledge), but she sounds like someone who's
got quite a few tricks left to learn, which is no issue of
course, as it can create interesting roleplay. Some loose
already-established connections to the gang would also help
getting started with the initiation process on an IC level.
Although your character is an elf which we are not very
enthusiastic to get more of, the application is decent and we
already know you, so I'm going to give this my approval.

Feel free to contact an officer in-game (you know who they are)
       to arrange an in-game interview.
