Remington Smisk - Application

- Why does s/he want to join the lowlife theft gang, the Sixty
Thieves? (And OOCly, why do you want to join?)
For gold, knowledge, fortune, connections. 'Smisk' have been in
Undercity for a long time, earning a little here and there, but
as he is not satisfied yet and still wish to earn a lot more.
Perhabs find a few goons/bodyguards to help his wealth grow and
his network of connections expand.
And i am personally looking for something new after 6+ years of
military rp.
- What would their nickname be?
Smisk or Mr. Smisk
- How powerful is your character?
As powerful as any other generic human undead.
He is a silent type, that prefer having others do his work for
coin or information.
- What's her/his background like?
Remington Smisk was once a man of the sea, chief of coin on the
vessel "Maryja" under Rombor Alebeard, until it sunk in the heat
of battle. Smisk threw himself overboard and drifted ashore a
small island in the far north, he survived for a few years until
the undead came, the last memory from life was the sight of the
undead tearing his flesh from the bone. He was the raised to
join the undead army, another soldier among the many others. As
the power over him faded he followed the other with free will.
He once again worked with coin in the bank of Undercity, but
eventually it became tedious, so he started testing his luck,
taking what he could without anyone noticing him. In the end he
had to leave, it had become to risky, and there had to be a
better way to gather coin, to expand his already growing wealth.
He later joined the Dusk Slithers, and honed his skills to a
much more profitable set of tools, later returning to Undercity
where he earned coin in manners not to be told.
- How consistent is your character with following the lore?
I follow lore to the best of my knowledge. I prefer keeping it
simple and within the lore.
- "Are you a killer, son/lass?"
Yes
- Do you accept ‘RP-consequences’?
Ofcourse! Roleplaying is not your own personal fairytail
adventure where you are the main star and everything goes as you
want it to go, roleplaying is something that should be shared
and enjoyed in union by combining our efforts to further the
story for the ones we roleplay with.
- Any specialities s/he has? Perhaps a skill in something, a
behavioural or personality trait that can be considered unique.
Smisk is exceptionally protective of his coins and knowledge,
there is no limit to what he will do or turn into mentally,
until he takes more from the ones attempting to steal his two
favorite things from him.
- What's your activity like?
Can be up and down as i sleep at odd hours and will soon start
studying and/or work. But i will check in as often as possible.

Hello and thanks for taking the time to write this!
Ah, you know our newest member "Grin"? As he too was in Dusk
Slithers
The only thing that comes to mind is when meeting in RP, the
Sixty members will make it clear that they do not kill (Along
with a few other rules) and if he is unable to agree to that
rule (even if he is lying when he agrees,) they won't be willing
to accept him. But that can be dealt with ICly! Just a heads up.

Hello There and Thank you for the application.
Seems you and your character have a clear understanding of
himself, which honestly I love more than anything. However he's
going to have to learn his place in an organized criminal gang
real fast. Your posse of goons will have to wait I'm afraid
until you've worked your way up the ladder a bit. Though am I
right to assume Smisk considers himself an intellectual type?
It's a trait we do take into account when dishing out work and
one I can relate to as well, but you'll have to get yourself
noticed somehow without hiding behind a wall of muscle.
No other urgent questions spring to mind as you've painted a
decent enough picture of your character. Just wanted to be
clear there are no free rides in this gang =)
I'd encourage an in-game meet up as soon as the application
process is done. Just too see what sort of bright ideas you
might be bringing to our table.

Hello and thanks for the approval!
I do indeed know Grin, both in game but also IRL.
And in response to the "Killer" stuff, yes Smisk is a killer as
he have had to be it out of necessity, but there is little
profit in permanently dead people. So it would not be a "I kill
you over nothing" more like "If it is you or me? Then it is
going to be me".
Looking forward to having my goal of goons ;)
I personally hate rank jumping, so it is very nice to see that
i'll have to work my way up.

Heya!
First of all, a nice and clear application. Informative and
entertaining at the same time, I like that.
As fade said, any questions that may or may not come up could be
asked and hopefully asked and answered in some form of IC
interaction, ie. the interview.
