Onta's application

Hello! After a brief conversation with Thalindor and a good read
on the forums I'll shower you in information.
Why does s/he want to join the lowlife theft gang, the Sixty
Thieves?
A passionate greed for riches and the exciting, secretive
lifestyle, Onta will go to any means to acquire his former
glory.
OCC: I really love the more criminal RP and you people look like
a great way to satisfy my needs. That sounded creepy.
What would their nickname be?
Pickle. Why? Nobody would expect to get swindled by someone
called Pickle.
How powerful is your character?
Average Pandaren, relying on his bare hands. Slow but effective.
What's her/his background like?
His estate was settled on a very busy, yet invisible smuggle
route across Kun-Lai, led by the Black Market on the Veiled
Stair. His farm became a pit stop for illegal trade goods. After
the Sha outbreak things began to slowly fall apart and Onta
sought his 'honest' fortune elsewhere.
How consistent is your character with the lore?
On one hand I try to keep it as level'd as possible on the other
I'm trying to create an interesting character that is in general
fun to rp with. I'm open to any corrections and fixes.
"Are you a killer, son?"
No. He will, if his life will be in danger, he is more inclined
to old fashioned face lifts.
Do you accept ‘RP-consequences’?
When justified, yes.
Any specialities s/he has? Perhaps a skill in something, a
behavioural or personality trait that can be considered unique.
Smelly farts.
What's your activity like?
Onta is my main and will remain my main in the future, so very
active.

Thanks for writing the app, nice to see more fluffy horde
interested in the gang :)
All I have to ask: is his unarmed abilities in combat the only
combat he is able with? (not that this is a bad thing at all.)
And would you say smuggling is your character's best 'criminal
profession' or is he better at 'honest' trade by pickpocketing,
bribing, threating and the like?
The answers won't change my final answer, just mere curiosity
that got me questioning.

Hello again!
A bit brief application, and although I don't see any issue with
it content-wise, I'd be curious to hear a bit more about Onta's
background. Is the character new to RP, or does he have a
background in previous guilds / random roleplay, already? If
yes, in what kind of activities has he found himself in? And
what originally led him into the life of a criminal, was it
simply the passion he's had from a young age, or perhaps
something gave him a bit of a push?

Hello! Poppet here!
I'm always interested in knowing how we can make our new bloods
shine ( ICly Poppet hates you all ). If there's anything more
you can tell us about your characters abilities here's your
chance. Seeing as we don't always rely on combat but more
subtle and creative means instead to achieve our goals It would
be nice to know.
Anything from your characters background that might define him a
bit more or even some dull hobbies that might come in useful
some time.
Aside from that. I can see things working out so long as he
behaves and keeps his farts to himself.

Ah, I didn't want to wall text so I kept it brief :D
When unprepared Onta will use whatever is at hand to fight, so
in dire situation his hands. Most of his fighting knowledge
comes from using short swords, daggers or farming tools. Beeing
native to Kum-Lai protecting his estate from Yaungol was nothing
new and that took both combat and creativity.
Most of the time he helped smuggle things across the land on his
trusty goat, so that would be his expertise. Neither is he a
stranger to haggling and bribes.
Onta is a new character (not new to rp), story wise he was
forced to leave his farm when the Pandaria conflict reached it's
peak. Losing his home and wealth he dug deeper into the only
thing that was guaranteed to bring him back his riches - crime.

through RP like we all do but this insight to your character was
appreciated!
