Ganon's Application
By: Ganon Date: December 6, 2015, 12:20 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
On a dark and clouded evening, a lone orc fisherman called Ganon
walked into a tavern in Ratchet, looking for a drink.
The fish hadn't been biting at all the last couple of days.
Or weeks.
In fact, he didn't think he could remember the last time they
did.
He sighed and walked towards the bar. "The usual, Wiley," he
said to the goblin who owned the place. The goblin nodded
silently and started searching for his cheapest whiskey.
Ganon looked around. At the back of the tavern, he noticed a
shady bunch of people discussing something. One of them seemed
to have some sort of sharp object, which he used to carve
something in some poor hunter's hand. The orc shrugged. None of
his business. He would just have to take his drink outside for
some peace and quiet. He payed for his drink, turned around
and--
"Why the rush?"
The companionship in the back of the tavern had all turned to
face him. One of them, a female half-orc, had a big grin on her
face, and continued to speak:
"Please, sit down with us. Don't be shy."
With a nervous smile, Ganon looked at the strangers.
"I'm sorry, I've got places to-"
"I'm sure it can wait. Come have a drink with us," interrupted
the half-orc.
He weighed his options. He was not looking for any trouble.
Should he just run away while he still had the legs to carry
him?
To hell with it. It's not like his day could get any worse.
He walked over and sat down on the other end of the table. The
grin on the face of the strange lady had turned into a crooked
smile.
"Tell me, orc...
How would you like to make some money?"
Why does he want to join the Sixty?
Ganon is an orc who has nothing to lose and everything to give.
He's always looking for ways to make more money, and he isn't
afraid to do whatever means necessary to get it, as long as it
doesn't mean he has to kill. He believes he could be a valuable
asset to the team, since he has been a long-time and trusted
fisherman all around Booty Bay and Ratchet, and thus could
easily gather information.
What can he do?
For a long time, Ganon has been practicing the dark arts in
secret. He is an able warlock who can call upon the shadows to
stand his ground when attacked. However, he doesn't like to show
his talent to people, as he has been shunned for it in the past.
Besides being able to gather information due to being a
fisherman for so long, he is also an experienced tailor and
enchanter, and can easily supply the guild with enchanted
clothes when needed. And, as an added benefit, being an
enchanter means that he knows how and where to sell various
suspicious powders and essences.
What would their nickname be?
Ganon tries to be friendly to everyone. However, if you choose
to be hostile against him, he won't hesitate to tap into the
power of the void to make you feel like you've made a grave
mistake.
Therefore, Ganon's nickname will be
[glow=purple,2,100][color=purple]Wrath[/glow].
What's his background like?
As the son of a powerful warlock, Ganòn has been introduced to
the dark arts at a young age.
At the age of 10, right before the First War, he experienced the
extremely powerful sorcerer Medivh invading his thoughts.
Intrigued what this could mean, Ganòn couldn't wait to ask his
father. However, his father never returned.
He later learnt of the death of many experienced warlocks who
said to have experienced the same vision, and decided he
wouldn't tell anyone what he'd seen.
During the many years that followed, Ganòn never attracted
attention to himself, afraid of the Shadow Council and Gul'dan.
Instead, he practiced and perfected the powers he had learnt
from his father.
He prefers to keep the fact he's a warlock a secret, as he's
been shunned for it in the past. Instead, he prefers to tell
everyone he's nothing but a fisherman, and when asked about his
soul shards, he'll say they make for great lures.
Any specialities he has?
He's a great fisherman, tailor and enchanter and makes a mean
pumpkin pie.
OOC:
I'm a new player on Argent Dawn, but I've been DM of a small D&D
group with friends, so I'm kinda familiar with RP, and I love
it! :D
I have one other character (pretty much my main character, as he
has the highest pve ilvl) on Chamber of Aspects. I'm excited to
meet you all, so please don't hesitate to approach me when you
see me in-game ;)

This all looks great! You've already gone through the interview
with Fade and I feel confident to say that you are accepted.
Welcome to the gang!
Also. Shrika will need to make a quality control of that Pumpkin
Pie. She's a sucker for sweets.
