Varys' application

Hi guys, this is Doc applying on a second character, so don't
give this application as much priority as other peoples, it's a
Blood Elf too, I know you've lifted the ban on them, but if the
numbers get too high, I'll be sure to play on Doc instead.
Varys has always been a tricky character, his mother died in
childbirth and his father raised he and his sister with an iron
fist. His sister followed in his father's footsteps and studied
magic, and so did Varys to a certain extent, though while his
sister studied frost and fire, Varys turned to the more taboo
schools; Illusion and Fel. From a young age he was a trouble
maker, getting into fights and stealing things at school. Though
born into a rather rich family, he couldn't help but love the
rush that successfully picking a pocket, or swiping a shelf
brought. Later in life, he dropped out of his magical
schoolings, and fled his family. He took to the streets and
practiced his craft, when he reached the cusp of adulthood, he
found he had been gifted with an extraordinarily silver tongue,
and he often conned visitors to Silvermoon out of their money
without ever laying a finger on them, and left them with a smile
on their faces. Recently, he ran into a certain Goblin thief,
who sold him some Bloodthistle. After buying him a drink, Varys
let it be known that he was looking for work, and Koln, the
Goblin, revealed that he was in a gang of thieves, and told the
young Blood Elf where he may apply.
In single combat, Varys isn't much use. His hand to hand skills
are lacking and the only magic he knows how to use either don't
harm, or kill indiscriminately, something that Varys doesn't
abide by. He much prefers to avoid fights, using a volitile
mixture of stealth and persuasion to get his way.
Varys has never used a nickname. Odd, you might think, for a
Thief, but he often found that his family's name intimidated
lesser nobles and the common rabble that he was most likely
targetting. If pressed, he would probably pick something awfully
pretentious, like Poet, or Quill.
Again, I'll say give this application a lower priority if there
are other applicants that demand attention, I'm more than happy
to play Doc while I wait!

Our pandaren Glory was going to take the nickname Poet!
Therefore I think it would be suitable to take it on your belf,
considering he uses the art of theft with his tongue alone~
I've said before but I'll state again that main characters are
always prefered over alts, but we have no excessive amount of
blood elves right now and don't need to consider Poet being
kicked. Just, when the time comes where we may have the belf cap
hit and another belf applies, players > character alts. Still,
that's in the long-run thinking!
'tis a nice concept and we know you very well.
I approve - give us a bit to get the amount of unmarked down to
a handful then we can talk about an Ic interview :D

Sounds good, just let me know OOC. I'll be RPing on Varys to get
used to the character so I might bump into you folks.
