Here's a chance for you to speak up and tell us about your
character. Please read each question and the related details
carefully before writing your application! Once posted, the
officers will read through it and come to a conclusion on how to
proceed, either by asking further questions or
       approving/disapproving the application.

How did you learn about us OOC?
       - Please tell us how you came to learn about the guild. Did you

What kind of expectations do you have for the guild?
       - Why does the guild appeal to you as a player? What sort of

Why does your character seek to join the Sixty Thieves?
       - Please give us some insight on your character's motivation to

What kind of skills does your character have?
       - What sort of things are included in your character's
skill-set? Are there any specific criminal activities they are

power-level tie in to their need or desire to commit crime?
What style of roleplay do you enjoy?
       - Describe how you like to roleplay. Do you enjoy event-based
roleplay or random community interactions? Do you like to engage
strangers, or prefer sticking to people you already know? How do
you feel about putting your character in danger?
How would you define conflict in roleplay, and how do you feel
       about consequences?
       - How do you view conflict in roleplay, and what kind of

       [tt]The Following Steps:[/tt]
Should your application be approved, we will arrange for an
in-game initiation for your character. If things go smoothly
there (there's always a possibility that they don't), your
character will then face a trial run as "Unmarked''.
During their stay as Unmarked, the leaders of the guild will
watch them work and judge whether they are a suitable candidate
to join the Sixty Thieves officially. Similarly, the officers
will keep an eye on your roleplay OOC. If the expectations are
met both IC and OOC, your character may receive their mark and
be promoted to the rank of "Marked", getting to enjoy all the
many perks that come with it.
What follows are the four main aspects assessed when considering
someone's progression to the rank of "Marked":
       1. Guild rules
Following the Guild Rules and Code of Conduct is crucial, and
failing to do so will lead into displeasure in the leading
ladder, and other possible consequences depending on the
severity of the case (see 'Guild Rules' and 'Code of Conduct').
       2. Roleplaying style
The officers of the guild will be keeping an eye on your
roleplay OOC. If your roleplaying style works well with the
guild concept, and we have no qualms about your OOC conduct in
conflict roleplay or otherwise, you may progress in the guild.
If your roleplaying style or character don't seem to fit well
into the guild concept, the officers will approach you to have a
chat. If no satisfactory outcome can be found, this will result
       in removal from the guild.
       3. Character actions
The officers of the guild will be keeping an eye on your
character IC. If your character can prove to the leaders that
they are a worthy asset to the gang, and they haven't broken
rules or otherwise caused too much trouble, they may progress in
the guild. It's important to note, however, that we have no
issue whatsoever OOC with characters who cause trouble in
roleplay. Even if the character doesn't get marked or meets an
untimely end, we would be happy to have you try on another
character, provided that the other criteria are met.
       4. Activity
Some level of activity and participation in the guild's roleplay
is required. Extended unexplained inactivity at the Unmarked
stage without notifying the officers OOC will result in a kick
(see 'Absence Rules'). If you return to the game or character
later, you may poke an officer for a potential re-invite to
       attempt your Unmarked stage again.

Thank you for taking the time to read through all this, and we
hope to hear from you soon!
