Aqeela application
By: Aqeela Date: June 23, 2016, 2:03 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
- Why does s/he want to join the Sixty?
She is looking for a place where she'd meet equalminded people
who looks after eachother. She is a thief however and has no
trouble with breaking the law.
(And OOCly, why do you want to join?)
I've heard only good about the guild and think it'd fit my char.
Simple as!
- What can s/he do?
Aqeela is a mender first hand, however she was also a thief in
life and the habit followed her into her undeath. Pickpocketing
her patients during mending. Which she shouldn't be proud of.
But she is.
- What would their nickname be? (Yes, we all have nicknames)
Sparrow
- What's s/his background like?
Pasting her background from TRP!
Born in Tarren Mill, she is a daughter of a paladin father and a
priest mother. Lived a good life until the day she got killed in
the most horrific way. Or that is how she puts it. The truth is
Blanche was seeking excitement in life and she used to steal. It
was when she took something she really, really shouldnt have,
that she got caught. For the first time in her life, she used a
dark spell and killed one of the guards that held her in the
prison. With that, you could say she did sign her own death
sentance and she was executed in public. She refuses to speak
about it, in fact, she doesn't remember the actual moment of her
death, but she does have a memory of seeing a pair of big white
wings and a voice telling her, it was not her time to go yet.
She accepted the gift and swore truth and honour to the Dark
Lady.
- Any specialities s/he has?
She has the heals! And well...she is good keeping a low profile
and pickpocketing.
- What's your activity like?
I do have another main, and might not be online every day, but
I'd say often!
- How did you hear of us?
Seen you guys around and got interested, then Fraylee has spoken
highly about your lot ( ooc )
- And if you need to specify something else in OOC, do it in the
end of the message with the rest of the OOC. Some
OOC-information would actually be appreciated.
Please, tell a bit about yourself as well!
Been RP:ing since forever both online and traditional pen and
paper rp. Ages ago tho. I work nightshifts (holiday atm) so if
I'm not online for a few nights in a row, it means I am busy
earning money ;) Living in Sweden and yeah what else..not much
more to share for now!^^

Hello, thanks for taking the time to write the application!
Theft caused her to become an undead? That sounds great! The
fact that she's a thief is an instant, "oh, you're pretty much
in then" - but details about characters are favoured and
important. I love how she pickpockets her own patients, lol. So
what medical experience does she have? How did she come across
learning the light (assuming from parents), and was her
professional job a town medic? Was she part of a military? More
of a townswoman rather than a field medic?

Hey Aqeela! Thanks for the application =)
As I said in Gchat. I've given her the low down on the Sixty so
she knows what to expect.
ICly Poppet has no affiliation with Aqeela so we'll have to
mingle her in some how. Somebody feel free to break their foot
or something and we can maybe request a local doctor? See how it
goes from there.
Just make sure you enforce your character's criminal past
somehow Aqeela otherwise the Sixty wont take an interest.
Thieving is kinda our thing after all.
Otherwise. Approved!
Hope to see you in game soon.

Aqeela indeed got her medic skills from her parents! She was
aiding the menders in battles and also when the soldiers
returned home. (She was born in Lakeshire, and not Tarren Mill
btw, something I forgot to change in her TRP) Part from healing
skills, she has the knowledge of how to stitch and use herbs and
potions to cure and mend. She specially uses that when mending a
forsaken, avoiding using the light if possible since it might
cause pain. While not aiding the menders in wars, she helped her
parents in the town with "normal" injuries, everything from
minor wounds to hunters being attacked by animals =)

Alright, thanks for answering! The concept I am so far enjoying,
by the way - we need some more characters that are / have been a
thief before and desire to join a gang with many like him/her).
As Poppet / Fraylee said - enforcing the criminal sides of
recruits to the guild would be a preferred, simply as we are
ICly going to be narrowing our options down as more people join,
to concepts of characters who have had enough experience with
theft and hold it as a primary profession.
Most questions I'd like to ask from here can be stated in the IC
interview.
Wait for other officer's replies before taking this as an
approval or disapproval, but even then I'd like to note that we
currently have a lot of recruits, and we don't like having a
massive handful at once as we can't give everyone attention when
they join. So when/if this application is approved you may need
to wait a small length of time so we can decide recruit's
staying/leaving fate and then have enough space to invite you.
Thanks!

Hello there, thanks for applying! : )
It is interesting that she has thieved in life and continues to
do so in undeath, I agree. But from what I read, I take it she
still heals with the light? What are her ways of coping with it
and does she have a solid reason to still believe in the light
despite being a Forsaken? Also, is she still loyal to Sylvanas?
Might complicate a few things as a Forsaken, but being a rebel
in that is interesting!

Hello, thank you for applying!
I too am curious about how using the Light affects you as a
Forsaken, more out of curiosity than anything.
I read that it is possible but that it would cause some serious
discomfort, pain even. Awaiting clarification on that!

Howdy!
I am all fine with the f act that I might not be able to join
just yet, this is an alt after all, so Im in no superrush!
I'll try to answer as good as I can!
Aqeela, or Blanche as she was called in Life, can heal with the
light, but yes, it does cause her pain and discomfort doing so
and she therefore can't heal like crazy. It does cause her pain
using the light. She does however, considering it worth it, if
she can help someone she is loyal too. She has the knowledge of
mending without the light too, and If she is to heal another
undead, she'd choose the non "magic" way if she could, the herb
and potion option. Perhaps even to non undeads aswell
eventually.
The reason to why she sticks to the Light is that she is kinda
newly raised and its the way she was brought up with and has a
hard time letting go. I'd dare to say that the longer she stays
"alive" (not being killed that is..or uh..killed-killed) the
more likely it is that she'd abandon her faith.
Her service to Sylvanas...I've been thinking her doing so more
because that is something she knew the others were doing and she
went with the flow since it was the easiest way of being
"accepted" and have somewhere where she could stay. She is not a
fan of the military life though, she saw enough of that in life.
Which is why she hasn't tried to be recruited by any of the
forsaken military guilds.

Thanks for answering again!
So her reasoning for following Sylvanas was more of a case of
conformity rather than actually aiming to serve and please her?
That suits us well, as the guild constantly does illegal
activity and having members with ties to the 'right' way can
become problematic.
Blanche followed the light in life, and I think it may become an
interesting character development now in death. Committing theft
and abilities to mend our thieving members should prove herself
to be a great member for the guild :)
Approved.
