Zae'lashi application!

Hey y'all. I am copy-pasting the template, because I've never
made a forum application before! Here goes nothing.
- Why does s/he want to join the Sixty? (And OOCly, why do you
want to join?)
Zae'lashi is a little bit of an outcast by his nature, not so
far as to be a total oddball - but definitely distinctive and
not often approved by his Darkspear brothers and sisters. He is
primarily looking for a place of open minded individuals who
might accept him. Coin is also good - this would be his first
'paid job'. In addition, perhaps he might find somebody to
mentor him and teach him the tricks of the trade.
OOC; during my time with Shattered Path I had the pleasure of
roleplaying with Su'ja, Waji and Ras - and was very impressed!
They accepted consequences for their actions and despite the IC
hostilities were super nice OOC. Really good sports. I know that
should go without saying, but we all know how it is and that
isn't always the case. (Zatyn/Al'raly here, btw! Some of you
might've seen them around.)
Otherwise... I've never really branched into criminal RP in my
years and it's something that I'd like to get into! Grizzik also
highly recommended you guys, and since Shattered Path is now
dead (R.I.P Zrena) I thought I'd try my luck!
- What can s/he do?
He's not built like a warrior; but instead is very slight and
lithe. He's an average hunter, nothing special but okay with a
spear. His skills lie with his speed, agility and dexterity.
Long-limbed and light, he would probably make a good cat burglar
if taught how to defeat locks - or a cut purse/pick pocket due
to swiftness of hand.
- What would their nickname be? (Yes, we all have nicknames)
Oof, unsure! Something spider'y would please him a lot - as a
devotee of Shadra. Then again that might be pretty darn obvious
considering he has spiderweb tattoos!
The words "White" or "Feathers" are probably the most synonymous
with his appearance. I am so bad at this, please help me.
- What's s/his background like?
Zae is a fairly young and impressionable troll, orphaned by naga
like many, and raised primarily by his uncle - a Shadow Hunter.
With great expectation placed upon him by the high standing of
his guardian he was always expected to be something special!
It's a great weight upon him which he has never been able to
carry or live up to; leading to withdrawal from Darkspear
society and a great deal of feeling sorry for himself. /violin.
He has a love/hate relationship with his uncle - who made him
follow Shadra to conquer his fear of spiders.
He did some minor scouting duties during the Rebellion, as he is
nowhere near a trained warrior - other than that... nothing
remarkable. He spends most of his time hiding from said uncle,
who makes him spar and run laps of Sen'jin all day. It's because
he cares - but it's still vastly unappreciated by Zae.
- Any specialities s/he has?
A lifetime of making up lies and stories that withstood his
uncle's scrutiny has made him fairly convincing in his deceit.
He has some very, very minor voodoo at his disposal lent by
Shadra (although I haven't worked out what yet.) He's very much
a blank canvas - and I'd like to develop him into a product of
his environment through role playing!
- What's your activity like?
Nerd-mode activity. I work flexibly, often at wacky hours and
I'm typically on 6-7 days a week until late! Don't judge me.
Q_Q. I do have a few sports commitments that tend to crop up
whenever I have an event I'd like to be at in the past - but
hopefully I can reschedule and shimmy my diary around to get to
as many events as possible!
- How did you hear of us?
Forums, first - and later on more IC than out.
- And if you need to specify something else in OOC, do it in the
end of the message with the rest of the OOC. Some
OOC-information would actually be appreciated.
I feel it should also be mentioned that Zae is a "femboy" - ie,
very effeminate looking male and as such I use the female model
to accurately portray him. I like to think that I do it
tastefully, and not in a... y'know... unsavoury or deviant
manner. I get a fair bit of OOC approval for the character and
like to think that I pull him off pretty well! Thought it was
worth sticking in here. I've included some screenshots of my

I am quite unsure as to what to put in -this- bit, but... here
goes!
I'm 21, from the UK. Surrey, now - but originally from Plaistow.
I've been roleplaying on WoW since I was 12, albeit TERRIBLY at
the start. I'd like to consider myself more respectable now
though! I started roleplaying on the Steamwheedle Cartel realm
on my warlock, and still play her today! I moved to AD in Cata
with the guild (when SWC started dying) and haven't looked back.
I am very much into my martial arts, and have done Muay Thai for
ten years. I have a cat, and used to have a raven until last
year. I'm unsure of what else to put in here; but if you have
any questions pleeeease do ask.

Hello, thank you for making the application!
First of all, commenting on the nickname, (picking a nickname is
my favourite part of interviewing :'D), I like White and
Feathers / Feather :) If there are any other suggestions it'll
be offered during the interviewing process
A blank canvas is often easy to shape into the mind and figure
of a Sixty Thief, and willingness to be accepted into a family
crime, learn the tricks, learn the rules, live the way of life
they have to offer will hopefully satisfy his currently
outcasted self. Our main look-to for characters is the ability
to commit theft, as that's what the Thieves are and need:
thieves, pickpockets, cutpurses, etcetc. With that in mind and
the ability for your character to develop on that line, I'd like
to meet him ICly and question him in an interview :)

Evening!
I gather from the application that he's not much of a criminal
(at least yet), but as long as he can impress the Sixty Thieves,
it's not necessarily a problem. Those inexperienced in the arts
of thieving can also become a part of the gang, if they can
improve, and express loyalty and motivation.
I see nothing standing in the way of my approval, so let's see
if this is the right place for Zae'lashi to settle in.

The app itself was a pleasant read, even if it was your first
time applying in this manner.
The character-concept seems solid and as the two before me
stated, ideal to mold into a valuable addition to our loving
family.
