Sharonna's application
By: Stutter Date: May 27, 2016, 5:07 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Hello!
Sadly I couldn't make another account, but this application is
for my alt:
Sharonna is an undead warrior, who's known of her dual-wielded
large maces and dry, or perhaps just nonexistant humour.
On the first glance she's far from your generic thief, but her
background in both Stormwind Military and later SI:7 (secret
service, if you will) have blessed her with the tactical set of
mind needed to work with a combination of sneaky rogues and
heavy weaponry.
Her military unit took part to the Siege of Orgrimmar, but like
so many, she too only reached the gates alive. Unlike the ones
who fell to the siege weapons and weren't quite intact even in
death, she and other able-bodied were brought back to the unlife
by Sylvanas Windrunner and her Val'kyr.
"Arise my pretties and fill the streets of Orgrimmar with your
scream!" was the first call she answered to after her death, and
for the first time she set foot in Orgrimmar – as a member of
The Horde.
Despite of preparing for wars for all her life she didn't find
joy in undeath and decided not to join the Forsaken Military
after the siege. She struggled to find her place in The Horde,
whom she fought against and spied of when she was part of The
Alliance. Letting go of a past life was proven to be hard, and
she felt her loyalties still lied with her military supervisors,
SI:7 contacts and His Majesty The King.
Sadly she eventually learned that her supervisors and contacts
had passed away in Draenor (not that they would've trusted a now
dead corporal/agent), which left her with nothing. She
eventually realized that she is alone on her mission – a lone
spy amongst The Horde ranks. Never pledging loyalty to Sylvanas
and the Forsaken she found herself strolling in the city of
Orgrimmar, occasionally witnessing the cunning acts of the
lowlifes. A specific group of thieves caught her eye – like
shadows they fought the law and scattered away as soon as a
grunt with a torch patrolled down the streets of The Drag. Even
if the Thieves didn't openly rebel against their Warchief and
other leaders, they most certainly weren't pro-military either.
Meaning they weren't against The Alliance, or against His
Majesty!
With these thoughts in mind the heavily armored, formerly human
spy approached the gang. Not hiding her passive attitude towards
The Horde she hopes to join the ranks of these thieves – to aid
them in any mischief they come up with.

In case some specific information is hard to find from that
little story I wrote, I'll break it down to the given guideline
questions! Apologies if it makes this whole thing a little
repetitive.
Why does she want to join the Sixty?
After losing her unit, fellow agents and life she wants to
continue her work against The Horde and The Sixty Thieves seem
to be a good fit.
What can she do?
She possesses great strength (especially for someone her size)
and a tactical way of thinking. Due to spending her living days
in the war she's not easily intimidated, but understands the
importance of respecting ranking and rules, and the benefits of
working in a group. Even if she's not loyal to The Horde, she's
deffinitely a woman who keeps a promise if you get her to make
one.
What would her nickname be?
'Corporal' would be a nice nod towards her past, but I'm not
sure if it's too obvious and not stealthy enough. I'm also
worried it might not work with the already existing Thief
ranking system. I'm very, very open to suggestions!
What's her background like?
A Stormwind Intelligence agent in the military, warrior with the
needed skill to use heavy weaponry.
Any specialities she has?
I'd like to think her ability of seeing the bigger picture and
thus being able to form tactics suitable for the unit's skills
is something you don't often run into amongst the lowlifes.
She's also stronger than she looks, and such deceiving looks can
sometimes be very beneficial.
What's your activity like?
I'm online on most weekdays, often busy on the weekends.
OOC information:
I'm a 30-year-old Finn, with 17 years of experience from RP (ten
of which are from WoW). I like stories, animals, food and
dancing. :)

I like applications like this :D was fun to read
Got nothing else to say other than approved, and it will be
interesting to RP with her.
As for nicknaaames... Corporal is a cool nickname, but then it's
questionable whether titles should be used as names in the
Thieves, as you said due to the hierarchy. What I can suggest as
simplistic names aarre.. Bones, Seven, Brute (unsure about this
one, as she isn't massive),

Thank you, I'm super glad you enjoyed the read!
She's definitely not massive - She's not Brienne of Tarth :D
But I, having a thing for names that beginning with the letter
'S', really like 'Seven'!

Well-thought-out and insightful application! Seems like a fun
character, and her ties or fondness to the Alliance is
definitely something new. I imagine it could even pose a problem
at certain times when the Sixty Thieves are robbing off the
Alliance, but that would be something interesting to roleplay
out.
Also, we all know you, so there's not really anything standing
in the way.
Approved!
