Amreli Redmane's Application

Why she wants to join the sixty thieves: She wishes to join to
make money for her and her wife to start a family.
What she can do: Amreli is a skilled marksmen, thief, lockpick
and hunter. She has been trained how to track people and animals
from footprints and her surroundings.
Nickname: Geist
Background:As a child, Amreli didn't get to know her family.
Being born as an only child to two blood elf rangers who died
hours after her birth. Amreli was left familyless until a
passing patrol of Blood elves came across her and her parent’s
bodies. They took amreli and she became a child of the city,
bouncing around from house to house until she turned the
equivalent of ten in human years when she decided to live on the
streets. Not even knowing her full name she learned to keep
herself going by stealing and running around Silvermoon. One
day, a young ranger by the name of Valtherion Swiftwind found
her and offered to take her in. She refused and he then decided
to watch over her while she lived on the streets. When she
turned fifteen,
Valtherion came to her one day and gave her a bow made from
bones. He said to her, “Now now little squirrel, this bow will
watch over you while I’m gone.” Sadly, he did not return. He was
part of the force that lead the offensive on the Lich King when
the Forsaken unleashed the plague bombs. Amreli waited and
waited for days for him to return, then she heard the news of
what happened. Again, she felt alone again. She fell back into
the life of stealing to survive along with her bow which she
never used.
Specialities: Stealing, hunting, sword combat and affinity for
dark magics.
Activity level: I am normally somewhat active. normally for one
to two hours at a time. May be slightly less due to Roleplaying
on other MMO's. Can be active for possibly 3-4 days a week.
Additional notes: I would very much like to be in this guild as
I have found it hard to find a guild to be a part of as of late.
Mostly down to the officers taking advantage of my kind and
helpful nature. I have rped with some members of this guild on
one or two occasions and I have found them to be lovely people
to interact with. I have around 6 years of roleplay experience
in several MMO's such as World of Warcraft, Swtor and Guild
Wars.

Thanks for the application!
It's good to know Amreli has a thievish background! What else is
on her criminal history? And did she ever get caught for
stealing?
How did she become a skilled marksman? I mean, if she never used
the bow she was given - what was her influence to learn a
hunters path?
As for her why to join: Making money is definitely what she can
guarantee on by joining Sixty Thieves. She is commited to her
wife, but what about the Thieves? To venture through the gang
and become marked, the Thieves expect to see people committed to
them - so to what extent would Amreli go to prove that?
Already RP'd with you already - but knowing she is just over 15
years old would make the Thieves very wanting or very hesistant
of recruiting her! Young people can be great to manipulate and
do what the gang wants, but they can also be going through a
stage of development which even the Thieves cannot control.

Hello there, and thank you for the interest. Fade pretty much
already asked the questions that came into my own mind!
Also, to go a bit into the age thing. Blood elves age into
physical adulthood the same way as humans do - they become
teenagers around the same time, and become physically adults at
around the age of 18. However, they're not seen as adults in the
blood elven society untill they reach the age of 60-110.

Would she actually be around fifteen years old, or perhaps
somewhere closer to 60? If we're talking about equivalent to
humans and their society, it becomes difficult to make a
comparison when comparing teenagers, as teenager-years are as
long for both races. The years work the same way with all races
- others just have longer lifespans than some. Hope this was
helpful - and apologies if it's something you were already aware
of!

Hello. I see where you coming from. The bio in this is a little
bit outdated and I havent gotten around to updating it that
much. It was made when I first made Amreli. As for her skills in
marksmanship, she began learning how to use her bow and such
after she met Kari, as an extra means to make money. Her
commitment to her wife is second to none but as long as the
thieves do not harm this, she is committed to them as well. And
as for her criminal history, has be charged with several counts
of pickpocketing, armed robbery, assault and attempted grand
theft. Deepest apologies for leaving these details out. And also
the age of over 15 is kinda off. Another fault on my end. I am
not that knowledgeable on how Blood elf age equates to human
years but I would hazard to guess in human years she is in her
early twenties now. Say just turned twenty given playtime and
recent events.

There's no such thing as "Elven" years, they age the same as
humans (with some obvious differences in culture obviously).

I would mainly say to just think about the ages carefully: If
she was 15 actual years old when Lich King came out, then I
guess she would be about 18-20 now, which is still very young
for an elf - not a teenager, but not quite an adult - not
necessarily a bad age to make your character, it just means they
would be very inexperienced - but maybe that will make RP more
interesting?
We will see what happens in RP - because nothing is determined
for unmarked - may the RP lead the way. Approval from me.
EDIT: As I said on the other recent app, we have a certain
maximum amount of unmarked at a time so we can acttually give
time and attention to recruits rather than seeing a massive
group of 20 as identical. Will message you in game when there is
space for another unmarked!
