Ralen Redbrook Application

- Why does he want to join the Sixty?
One of his contacts within the Sixty Thieves told him about this
crew, and he decided that he might cash-in on the security it
might bring, given his line of work. With this, he has tried to
get into the Sixty, so that he can continue with them and make
his business more profitable. With his large selection of
quality 'wares', and his ability to spot that of which others
may find difficult to see as an opportunity as well as he does,
this Elf is looking for long term profit.
- What can he do?
Ralen is a spotter. Previously helping snipers spot their
targets in mercenary companies, his eyesight is unmatched in
quality. Given this previous experience Ralen is also an
effective melee foot soldier, lightly amoured and quick moving.
Past his fighting and to where he really excels, Ralen is a
dealer and a handler of money and goods. A cool individual and a
smooth salesman, Ralen knows how to make a quick coin.
- What would their nickname be? (Yes, we all have nicknames)
On the streets Ralen already had many names. But one he prefers
and has been called the most, is Hawk.
- What's his background like?
Ralen was born in Quel'Thalas as a bastard son, the father
unknown. His mother tried to raise him the best she could,
working at a local inn. This explains how he got in contact with
different narcotics in his young years. Trying to make some gold
for himself, he started to wander the streets, where he got
caught up with the wrong crowd. This would lead to the start of
his dealing.
After many years of this, he joined up with a mercenary company,
travelling and making money from contracts. With lots of cash
and nothing to spend it on he turned to drugs himself. This has
led to him being a careless individual with a selfish outlook on
life turning back to dealing after the mercenary company he was
a part of, as he claims, disbanded.
- Any specialities he has?
As mentioned above, great eyesight, opportunistic savvy and a
lack of morals.
- What's your activity like?
I'm highly addicted to WoW. Save me.
On a serious note, I'm active, there will be days I can't come
for events, but mainly I would say I'm an active Rp'er.
- And if you need to specify something else in OOC, do it in the
end of the message with the rest of the OOC. Some
OOC-information would actually be appreciated.
I'm aware of the guild not taking in any Blood elfs atm, but I
was recommended to make a application anyway, so here it is.
If there are any questions about me, or my character, please, do

Long term profit from life long work is what our members should
expect!
We do have a large amount of elves in the guild, but characters
who suit the concept of the guild, and are eager to join, are
very much appreciated.
To just summarise: your character deals the 'bad' stuff, hangs
with the 'wrong' people.. does he get his wares from trade? Or
does he commit theft? Or more importantly, is the character able
to gain theft as a primary profession?

Thanks for the quick reaction!
He gets his wares from trades but also gets his wares from
stealing. However, I forgot to tell, he also produces his own
wares. He is good with numbers and measurements!
I don't think he will become mainly a thief, but he will still
steal.

A person who can see values in item. That is always great to
have. Especially (at least my character) cant value stuff except
for books.
Great eyesight is also a good trait. But could you explain me
how good this eyesight is? Is it actually like a hawk or is it
above average?
The fact that he seek a long term profit is also perfect, as us
who are ethically bendable are always working our best to create
profit.
All in all, this is good and acceptable. As mentioned a bit
above, our elven cap limit. Once that is no longer a problem I
would not mind accepting you.

Hello there! Having looked through the application, the
character seems to fit in great into our guild concept.
But.. as mentioned above (more than once, now), the elf cap is
there.
However, as you appear to be motivated to play the character,
are active, and seem to want to join our guild in specific,
we'll see what direction we might take after getting in touch
with you ICly for some roleplay. We'd very much like to continue
the RP between your character and our guild for the mutual
benefit. When there's space 'freed' for an elf, again, we'll get
in contact with you for sure, to see if you're still interested.

On You-tube you can find different videos of sniper teams, where
Lak'zual is the sniper, Ralen is the spotter. Not all can be
done of course with just his good eye sight, there he can use
his binoculars. But I would say his eye sight if above average
by lots of these kinds of training he had in the mercenary
group.
So I hope that answers the question!
And I sure hope to have more interaction with the guild!
