Karinia Redmane's application
By: JamieWatkins Date: April 15, 2016, 7:24 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
- Why does she want to join the Sixty?
I bumped into you guys IC'ly, liked your guild concept and have
so far learnt a bit of what the guild is about. So far quite
liking the concept! In terms of IC'ly, Kari has seen first hand
what the Sixty is capable of doing whilst also being in need of
a bit of coin. She sees this as a good way to resolve that
issue.
- What can she do?
Kari is a very skilled herbalist and alchemist, being able to
make nearly anything from nearly anything in terms of alchemy.
On top of this, she has a very very good ability with sneaking
and generally staying out of sight, despite her loud and
boystrous attitude. To complete the package, she is a skilled
wielder of dual weapons due to her years with her 'father'.
- What would their nickname be? (Yes, we all have nicknames)
Little-tusk. This was the name used by her 'father' as she was
growing up and she thinks of it as a term of endearment.
- What's her background like?
When Kari's mother died and her father abandoned her in the
woods only a few years afterwards, she was taken in by her Troll
father from a young age. This is where Kari has picked up her
Troll-ish lifestyle, including her accent, her beliefs and her
skills in alchemy. Her father was killed a few decades later
when the scourge came rampaging through the lands where they
live, Kari not having much love for any form of undead after
that encounter. The elf spent a long time in the Horde army,
coincidentally winding up in a scout unit consisting mostly of
troll members, which only made her misconceptions about who she
is worse. Her unit was killed on Pandaria from a Mantid attack
while scouting around in the Dread Lands, Kari being the only
survivor of the attack by dousing herself in the pheromones used
by the mantids. About a year ago, she met her wife-to-be Amre,
the two hitting it off almost instantly and being married by the
end of that year.
- Any specialities she has?
Alchemy and sneaking.
- What's your activity like?
I'm on fairly regularly, pretty much every day unless I'm
otherwise occupied.
- And if you need to specify something else in OOC, do it in the
end of the message with the rest of the OOC. Some
OOC-information would actually be appreciated.
I can't think of anything OOC that is terribly important. I'm
kind of boring RL really ;D.

Thanks for the application! I was looking over Fade's shoulder
occasionally during the RP (when I was not falling asleep), and
I didn't see any issue with that.
Certainly an interesting background, having been raised by a
troll - which leaves me curious; where does she stand regarding
factions? Amani whom she was raised by are hostile to the
Sin'dorei - did she share their views on the Sin'dorei, and how
did she adapt to tolerate them again (and the other way around)
after the attack of the scourge, considering she began to work
for the Horde afterwards?
Also, considering she's been working for the Horde for a good
while, what led her down the criminal path?
Would just like a bit more light shed on those things to get a
further insight into the character.
