Lak'zuals Application
By: Lakzual Date: April 15, 2016, 4:37 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Why does he want to join The Sixty?
Lak'zual has gone about the last five or six years of his life
finding easy work with all the crime, cultists and political
intrigue that Azeroth has to offer. Though, as of late it's been
harder to find a job that pays well, and caters to his needs. He
is only interested in one thing, money. Unlike some other people
who he might consider stupid goons, he doesn't gain a thrill out
of dangerous jobs and will most likely pick easier ones. He
wants to join the Sixty Thieves for one simple reason: They're
just thieves, how hard can the work be?
What can he do?
This Troll is one hell of a gunslinger and damn be if he ever
misses a shot. Quick on the trigger with his revolver and a
deadly marksman from long range, there's not a head that
Lak'zual can pop. Some say he can pot-shot sniper rounds over
mountains! Though that's not true, one other thing that he can
do is fight hand to hand. Having been a mercenary, a pirate and
any nameable vocation of skullduggery, not only can he hit hard
with his fists, but he's not a stranger to slashing with a
machete, giving him lethal but also extremely painful
tendencies.
What is his nickname?
"Round"
Having already been recruited in to the Sixty Thieves as an
Unmarked rather suddenly, Lak'zual has already picked his
nickname, although he hasn't revealed his real name to them yet.
Background
Although I won't reveal too much about his background and more
particularly his relatives, Lak'zual comes from a family of
Hakkari in Zul'Gurub, a bastard child from one of the priests
there, having inherited the green hair of the infamous high
priest, as other Zuals out there in Azeroth have. As a boy, he
grew up in a particularly toxic environment and as many children
of the Hakkari, he was alienated and in his teenage years he set
off to join a swashbuckling South Seas pirate crew. Here he
learned about "civilisation". Proper clothes and the moving on
of technology past ineffective bows and the like. He picked up
his first gun and started working on his aim. Skip forward many
years, and Lak'zual has swashbuckled, become a mercenary, fought
in wars on both sides and been security for any Goblin cartel
you can name, developing him in to quite the skilled gunslinger
and a hardened individual, with no real morals - only an eye for
money.
Notably, anyone familiar with military records can point out he
is related to Kay'zual Blacktusk, who left the Horde and now
resides in Pandaria with a small squad of warriors. Any details
further than that are unknown.
Any Specialties
Since he's an all-round kind of worker, I'll list a few of his
favourites:
[li]Bounty Hunting[/li]
[li]Racketeering[/li]
[li]Infiltration[/li]
[li]Security[/li]
My Activity
My activity is pretty good, I would say. Though, I do run a
guild on my main and I will always pick that over this guild (no
offence!). If I feel like this guy, I will most definitely log
on and RP, and I will most likely join the OOC channel on my
main, though keeping it in another tab just so that I don't fall
out of contact with any hot news! :)
OOC Info
As stated above, I run a guild called The Ceaseless Cohort, who
are a bunch of suicide-squad spartans and the like dedicated to
destroying evil and ne'er-do-wells. Also, this character is
based off of the "theme" of spaghetti westerns, and is a mash-up
of Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, John Marston from Red Dead
Redemption and my own creative input, such is why he has such a
dead-eye aim! Expect quotes. Other than that, there's nothing
really to say - Oh, oh! I might have a friend coming over to
join the Sixty Thieves soon, but we'll see! They'd basically act
as Lak'zual's impromptu partner I think.

Thanks for applying! Well, it is obviously an approved from me.
The main reason for asking to make an app is just so we all know
what the char is like, and other officers can be aware too
without necessarily RPing with you (due to being busy, ofc).
It was nice reading more about your char - very insightful! It
will also be nice to discover these ICly :D
As for absence, don't worry - we do have absence rules on the
forums if you want to take a look, but the only issue we have
with absence is if: a player logs once and RPs with us, then
never does so again, or if they disappear without any word where
they have gone, etc etc. RL > WoW always, and as you're a guild
leader on anothe rguild (which I am very interested to find even
more about now!), it comes before us.
Really looking forwards to more RP with you in the future, and
even more exciting for a possible new member to join as his
partner in criiime! That'll be great :D

Hello there! I was peeking over Fade's shoulder now and then
last night to follow the RP - and I see no issue here. The
character concept seems fitting to the Thieves, even if it's a
bit more violence-based character than we usually might take.
As said above, activity won't be a problem, as long as there's a
reason for it and it is told to us. Joining the OOC channel on
your main would be appreciated, so we can get in contact with
you easier if ever need to.
Approved - and welcome!
