       Dhai Steelsong
By: Dhai Date: April 11, 2016, 11:22 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       - Why does s/he want to join the Sixty?
Dhai is looking for a group that can help him climb the social
latter. He is fairly new to the world of Azeroth and he wants to
make a name for himself while filling his pockets with gold and
jewels on the way. After all isn't fame and fortune the only
       thing worth fighting for?
       - What can s/he do?
Dhai is an accomplished warrior and brawler. So in other words:
He is big, strong and his punches will hit you like a treetonk
(or he will pick one up and smack you with it)! He is also an
average scribe who likes to write bad poetry and forge
       documents/books/etc..
       - What would their nickname be? (Yes, we all have nicknames)
Dhai is a pretty vainglorious pandaren as he is used to being
admired due to his strength. Therefore he has build much of his
identity upon his physical prowess. Mixed with a superficial
personality, Dhai will probably insist that he is called by his
surname "Steelsong" or something equally or more terrifying.
       - What's s/his background like?
Dhai grew up in a small sheltered village in the north of the
Valley of Four Winds. His father owned a small local mine, where
some of the villagers worked, and was a proficient smith like
most in Dhai's family. Dhai never had any want or talent to make
"the steel sing" like his family did when they created tools for
the farmers or mined the hardy minerals.
Thus Dhai turned to his other passion: Fighting. He had always
had a flair for brawling and after being taught the basics of a
travelling warrior Dhai quickly found himself to be the most
proficient fighter in the small village (Since they had none).
This garnered a lot of attention as the local girls saw Dhai
swing his blade during training and reciting his bad poetry
during his breaks. But Dhai revelled in the attention he was
receiving, often putting on a show for the ladies when they
snuck by to watch him train or read.
It all went to his head in the end and Dhai became a prideful
warrior at best and a petty bully at worst. As such he found
that he (or more likely his ego) had outgrown the village. He
struck out on his own seeking fame and fortune befit a great
       warrior like himself.
His travels did not go well and he was consumed by a tragedy
that shattered his illusions of grandeur and pride. But unlike
other pandarens, that would find peace with the past Dhai never
managed this. He has since been consumed trying to avoid his
path even going so far as to leave Pandaria and as such he
rarely speaks of this event (which is why I will keep it a
secret!) and often changes the subject to his time as a disciple
of at the Temple of the White Tiger which followed directly
after. Only one thing is sure right now: Dhai is trying to drown
out his past with a fast paced lifestyle of violence, gold and
       infamy.
       - Any specialities s/he has?
He is probably most efficient as a bruiser but he does have some
basic skill in administration and planning.
       - What's your activity like?
Unfortunately I will not be able to be online too often. Mostly
once or twice every week. However Dhai is my main character and
I have a very flexible schedule, so I should be able to make
most of the events (or those I might create myself). If needed I
can be available through skype, discord or any other way to chat
if the guild wants to get in contact with me.
       - And if you need to specify something else in OOC, do it in the
end of the message with the rest of the OOC. Some
       OOC-information would actually be appreciated.
I am a 24 year old student from Denmark with a job on the side.
This leaves me little time but I do enjoy to spend the spare
time that I have on WoW. I am a pretty mellow guy and can often
be a bit quiet in guild chat and on voice chat, but I like to
crack joke when I do speak. I have been playing WoW since
Vanilla and I have been RPing since the Burning Crusade. So I am
fairly experienced, however my english is a bit lackluster as I
it is only my second language, so I hope you will manage to read
it all without burning me on the grammar cross. I also like to
write a lot so I hope you enjoyed the backstory and find Dhai
       suiting!
Tally-ho you criminal scum o/ (from your hopefully soon-to-be
       fellow criminal scum.)

Hello! Thanks for making the application :) Much appreciated
Your character sounds like one who has had an interesting
history, and his general character seems solid and one I would
like to meet ICly. As for the nickname, Steelsong works! Others
usually have simpler words like 'Witch, Junkie, Fade, Tact'...
etc, but it can also be discussed during the interview
Activity isn't a problem - real life comes before WoW. We have
some absence rules on the forums (plus a bunch of other stuff
that might be interesting to read!), come online when you can if
you want, and the idea of you making your own events would be
heavily appreciated and interesting to attend!
Approved from me, see you in game :)

Greetings, Dhai, and thank you for your interest!
A pandaren criminal is a rare sight, but luckily the Sixty
       Thieves don't discriminate. A well-written application, and I'm
pretty sure the Thieves could use the muscle he appears to be
       able to provide.
Approved by me, looking forwards to getting in touch in-game!

Hi Dhai. Intereresting (back)story there. I am a big fan of
having a very colourful bunch of people being together. So
definitely approve! It feels so weird approving someone's app
who is like 100 x more experienced in RP than me, haha!
       Regardless, see you in-game! ;D

Thanks for the nice replies. I am currently reading for my exam
and just using this as a little break. So I probably won't be
online until Thursday, but I will contact you then. Have a nice
evening and hopefully I will see you this Thursday!
