       Foreign businessmen
   DIR By: rafor

I am creating this topic because I saw the job market for all
the skills! The conclusion ? There is NONE offer for an Irish
businessman! All the offers are from foreign businessmen!I think
that this is a problem! Why? First of all I don't have problem
with the salaries! There are high. The problem is that irish
(mostly) people produce products but this products are not sold
in our market! Most of job offers are in iron but I see only 1
player selling iron at the moment. Also if a new player come
he/she will find at the job market offers from foreigns and then
he/she will continue working here.Another problem is that the
nation has profit only from the working tax and not from the vat
tax.(as the products don't get sold in our market) Productivity
exists but products dont! For my there are 2 options! 1st) We
should start investing in our own country!Start a business and
hire irish people with good salaries!(dont care only for the big
profit) If that's not possible then we should see the option 2.
2nd option) We make a nation-commune!We start sending pms to all
the active irish people to come and work in our companies.(i
mean the nation's ones)There will be 2 methods of paying!First
with IEP and second with supplies!Because in a commune there are
not enough currency the first paying package will include both
IEP and some supplies (supplies that will cover the IEP we
couldn't give). If we succeed in making a good commune working
nation then the supplies we could offer in our workers will be
higher than the biggest salary of the job market!
Sorry for the long message and the mistakes (in syntax etc) that
exist.I hope you will care about this subject because it's
       really important.

We are not too many, so we can not offer such commune thing, yes
some Irish people work for foreigners, but just becouse active
Irish just to work for a commune of Military Unit, i will be
filling the market with some Food/gifts, to get it alive and
running, becouse we need an active market, but still the market
will tend to stay dull due to not too many people.

Xerox in my MU 16 players work and our daily supplies are 10q4
food and 36q1 weaps. If we find 20-25 players we could make a
       lot!Think about it.It's not impossible!

Greece has many workers, and the people who are not in commune
of MU, tend to work on their own companys or Irish friends, the
job market is pretty dead these days.

Xerox in the first days of a player hes/she should get some
supplies instead of currencies. As I said if we dont want a
commune we should start investing in our nation!

Rafor, couldn't say it better. I checked out the article and I
totally agree..but there is a point in what Xerox is saying, it
       takes time!
The sound of that there are non Irish people laying out offers
is terrible, I'm going to get some job offers out on the market
today. And in the next week I'm hopping to get a wep company up
and running so there will be more offer by Irish lads. It'll
take some time, but with patient we'll make it. :)

Well, what my advice is at the moment, to make a welcome basket,
to every new guy who is tending to play, we would give away Q1
Food,Gifts, and guide him to the game this idea is pretty old,
but if it would happen, atleast 20% people would stay for sure.

I know you may be thinking about me because i moved to bulgaria
but i did it so i could get gold to start a comp because of this
problem. And xerox i think that some of this problem started
when you sold your Q4 iron comp. i know it is not your falt
because you couldn't pay the workers and i dont blame you for
it. all i am saying is it was one of the biggest irish owned
comps and it was sold to some foreigner. Again is wasnt your
       falt.
