Front page USAT website - announcing a young lady who is
representing the USAT to the world - her photo - her wearing a
uniform she would not be allowed to wear at WTF competition, one
she can't wear at USAT competition - advertising a competing
organization!!!

NOw if ATA were footing the bill for her trip and she was
representing them, and had gone to the qualifier on ATA money -
no problem!

I am sure that the ATA is thrilled to death.
Here is the deal - if you are sponsored by Nike, you don't take
the team picture is Adidas.
I totally get that the USAT is once again for the how many th
time is courting ATA. I think that is great and maybe Bruce will
be more successful than all the other people before him who has
tried to make this alliance.
I think it is great that an ATA or any athlete made the YOG
team. But if USAT is paying for the trip and USAT paid for the
qualifier trip expenses then the USAT should be getting the PR
and USAT was stupid to promote another group. This might be one
reason that USAT has branding issues.
