       Name the Coaches

       It has been 54 days since the selected coaches were to return
       the signed acceptance letters and still no announcement of who
       these coaches are.  Why the big secret?  Is anyone really
       surprised by which coaches are going to the first Grand Prix
       event?  Wouldn't it be nice to know who is in the coaching pool
       before they name the head coach for the Youth Olympic Games? Or
       the Cadet World Championship?
       Do Bruce Harris and Patrice Remarck think so little of the USAT
       membership that they feel no obligation to share any information
       with us?  Or are they afraid to make any information public for
       fear of backlash?  What do we have to judge Patrice Remarck's
       tenure as head coach so far?  There have been hints that it has
       been an administrative nightmare (as most recently attested to
       by the recent document purported to be a team selection
       procedure).  Is the lack of naming the assistant coaching pool
       that difficult that it was beyond his capabilities?
       It is common knowledge that Jean and Juan, at least initially,
       balked at signing the acceptance letter due to the terms
       therein.  So, is the failure to release the list based on the
       fact that Juan and Jean aren't on it but are still being
       selected to coach overseas?  Add Jean and Juan to the list.  The
       membership doesn't care whether or not they signed the letters.
       Just tell us who the selected coaches are.
       Or is the list a super secret document we can't let fall into
       enemy hands?
       Or is it contempt for the membership and the idea that they
       deserve to be informed of what is going on?

       Well on March 5th Bruce posted there would be transparent and
       public accounting of the Aspire camps. They are over, one of the
       trips is over and the other is going to happen soon.  NOthing.
       I know Juan is there. I know Lynda discussed that Jean did not
       want to sign at the BOD meeting. Doesn't sound like there was a
       resolution except everyone does what everyone wants to do.
