I prefer KP&P much harder to score. Need to turn your kicks
over.No Phantom points. Inconsistent referring/judging is the
issue at AAU sometimes it goes your way sometimes it does not!
Not biased just poor to inconsistent. I am looking forward to
Electronic Head gear getting the human error out of TKD.
In the end you have know how to deal with each system at USAT
Expect inconsistent referring and phantom points.
Its pick your poison really. You have to know how to win on
both systems!
We train for both systems and expect inconsistent
officiating...part of the game. Each organization has its
unique challenges. We know what to expect from AAU. USAT
throws us a lot more curve balls...unannounced octagon rings,
weigh in rules(team trials),selection procedures not posted in a
timely manner, brackets not posted. At AAU they never post the
brackets so it is not expected...USAT does sometimes with no
rhyme or reason? USAT gives you a lot more unexpected hurdles.
In the 12 years I have been involved in USAT/AAU it has always
been this way.
