What a mess my son turns 17 this year so not affected not liking
the Idea of the 16 year olds getting a special team trials.
They should just have an open trials.

You would think the CEO, the High Performance Director, the Head
Coach and the USOC AAC Rep Designee would know something about
WTF rules and regs. However, apparently at least 2 or I suspect
3 of them just signed and didn't read. I can't remember the
last selection procedure that didn't have valid protests. This
is beyond ridiculous and yes the USOC knows they didn't read it.
They are not going to have an open trials because a) someone
they want to make it might get hurt, and b) no one would go to
Nationals if they did - OOpps Nationals is already going, so
they got that money.

But...but...but...I have been reading these boards for years and
been told it was Juan and Jean who were playing around with team
trials and team selection. I was assured repeatedly that once
Bruce and Patrice were in charge that everything would be honest
and above board.
