BOD 2014 Goals and Benchmarks

MEMBER SERVICES
Develop an organizational plan that improves the
overall effec.veness and supports the growth of the USAT
organiza.on
o Establish USAT customer services standards, i.e. 24 hour
email/call response time.
o Develop plan to improve overall experience of each member
including athletes, coaches/club owners, referees and supporters
relative to fees paid/time invested and benefit received.
BRAND BUILDING
Build a clear brand position and USP for each USAT
stakeholder
Build & execute a brand plan for at least 3 USAT
athletes
Develop 1 or more nationally recognized media
partnerships to drive greater engagement and or sponsorship with
USAT
SUSTAINABLE REVENUE BASE
Increase USAT membership base to 20,000 by the end of
2014
Broaden the revenue mix:
o Add 1 additional sponsor > $50K
o Increase existing sponsorship dollars by 10% or $30,000 for
2015 contracts
o Increase investment for infrastructure needed for Nationals
Events to drive athlete/ Coach sa.sfac.on, reduc.on of long term
equipment rental costs, growth of event video income, etc.
ATHLETE EXCELLENCE
As the US certifying body for the sport of Taekwondo,
build a participant roadmap for all key stakeholders to
define training, development and other par.cipa.on
standards. Also iden.fy tools to assess and fill the
gaps.
Achieve milestones for athlete c excellence at key
elite international events:
▪ 2 Medals at the 2014 Grand Prix Series
▪ 3 berths in the 2014 Grand Prix Finals
▪ 6 medals at the 2014 Pan Am Championships
