Sorry you and others feel that way. I can see your point but I
am in favor of it none the less. The UFC can be a lot for some
to take. My wife would agree with you BTW. My kids on the
other hand love the UFC.
There are also a large contingent of people in the USAT who love
the UFC(MMA). I do agree that people(BOD) should be brought into
the process unilateral decisions can be very dangerous.
Five comments on face bood about the UFC partnership all
positive. Even one of our Poomsae National Tem Members appears
to be positive about the arrangement.

That thread has 137 comments last I looked. It's hard to forget
UFC trashing Taekwondo. Maybe they changed their minds but
still, that bell can't be unrung. They may have stopped trashing
it, but they are not praising it.
In the end UFC would not have suggested this if it wasn't
getting something out of it. The real question is what is USAT
getting out of it. It has given UFC its most prized possession
and linked it with UFC.

I was referring to the actual USAT website/Facebook page USAT
Coaches United has 168 comments at this time. It is a very
hotly debated topic. The most popular topic I can recall.
This debate we are on the opposite side of this issue. Only
time will tell if this is positive for USAT.
What I am sure we can agree, that we want what is best for the
organization.

Truthfully, in the end, USAT will not get anything. UFC probably
will gain. Some members will leave but as USAT doesn't
communicate for crap, the majority of members will not even know
there is an issue.

"The UFC-USAT Partnership also allows for USA Taekwondo bumpers
around the Octagon posts during selected UFC events. USA
Taekwondo also will receive a limited number of discounted UFC
Fight Club memberships, passes to UFC Fight Club Q&A sessions
and a tab on UFC.com."
I went to www.ufc.com. I don't see a tab on there. Maybe I am
blind or maybe they have the same web philosophy as the USAT -
hide everything.
Who determines who gets the discounted Fight Club memberships?
that limited number? and how much of a discount is it? What do
you get with Fight Club membership? Discounted Fight club
memberships -
HTML http://www.ufcfightclub.com/benefits
You get a
T-SHIRT!!! Lanyard! A DRAWSTRING BACK PACK!!! a rule book!, a
letter from Dana White! access to the premium forum, and if you
get the primo membership - you get 2 free ppv! But only a few
privileged USAT members can get the discount. WOW!
Passes to Fight Club Q&A? how does that benefit USAT?
And USAT is going to advertise UFC - push an event in Vegas that
occurs during the same time as the USAT Nationals. USAT is going
to push UFC to the same pool of members who attend USAT schools.
Would some consider that working against the USAT clubs?
"Other benefits will be announced to USA Taekwondo membership at
a future date. In return, USA Taekwondo will promote upcoming
UFC events and brand extensions to USA Taekwondo membership.
Additionally, USA Taekwondo will work with UFC and Las Vegas
Events to support efforts to bring Taekwondo events to Las Vegas
during International Fight Week™, hosted during the 4th of July
week. "
