well lads is anyone getting any shooting? im itching to get out
again. wish the birds would hurry up and raise their young lol.

A lot of people won't shoot while things are breeding. Go and
shoot clays and give the birds a chance to do what they need to
do. Think of what will be left sitting in a nest starving. Then
come July/August people wonder why there's nothing about.

Doing no shooting while birds and foxes are raising there young.
Hence decided to get back into reloading.
Got a pile of stuff on order, and once it all appears, will sort
out the powder and primer licence, and start doing some
reloading, 22-250 and 12 gauge ;D
That will keep me busy for a while.
Have a bunch of 7.5 shot left over from cartridges that rusted
(brass coated, steel underneath) when they got wet in a
downpour, so can use that, along with the wads and any powder
left in them.
Just needs new primers as they are all rusted too ???

Got out yesterday and zeroed the .22 lr at 75m with 3x9x40 Tasco
and Eley subs.
Then got the Superten zreoed at 30m with the 6x24x50 IR with
Bisley Magnums just as it was coming dark. Had it zeroed at 50m
with the old 4x40 but decided to bring the range down until I
can get a few kills first. Wish it would warm up a bit as keen
to get at the rabbits, its that cold I'm not keen to go out
never mind them! :)

There's plenty of rabbits knocking about at the minute, but
hoping the weather will dry up. Don't mind the cold or the rain,
but a combination of the two of them isn't good. Saying that I
got 2 rabbits in minus numbers last week, and we ended up with
7. Should have been a lot more, but shivering doesn't allow you
to hold the rifle steady lol.

took the air rifle out for some zeroing last week and got
another few hundred acres permission in the process ;D
havnt been doing much, going to hit the rabbits as soon as the
fields dry a bit, so got the cz 455 17 hmr sitting beside me now
to give it a clean, was hoping id have the new stock ready for
it by now but itll take another couple of weeks to get sorted,
so going to stick the old one on again after ive cleaned all the
sawdust out of the gun ::) lol
