I made this bucket seat once from a 25l paint tin. Used an old
car seat belt for the carry strap, a turn table from an old
microwave for the swivel seat and a bit of foam covered with the
back of a camo boilersuit for some comfort. Holds a hide net,
the lunch ear muffs and a few other bits. I then throw all the
empty shells in it when Im finished.

I made some crow floaters, some sentry s, and even using shiny
garden decoration crows, made some decoys, by just drilling
holes in them and spraying them Matt black.
If anyone has some of those floater poles from companies that
have the twist lock collar on them, you'll find that the threads
       strip very quickly.
DON'T throw them away. Instead pull the fibreglass stake out,
and lay it to one side. Now get the tube section, and drill a
6mm hole 1/2" below the threads, just through one side of the
       tube.
Now get a 5mm FLANGED nut (eBay) and a 5mm WINGED screw and weld
the nut over the hole using a 4mm nail through the nut and hole
to keep the nut in place.
       AVOID getting the threads melted.
Now spray the welded metal and nut with Matt black paint and
       allow to dry.
Once dry, put the fibreglass stake bake in the tube, and screw
the winged screw/bolt into the nut. Now you can easily tighten
and loosen without the chance of the thread stripping ;D
       Money saved again LOL

does making your own stocks count? lol
heres one i came up with and never bothered my ass using, its a
cheap and simple way to make a hide, saves having to use hide
poles, can also make hides with a roof too :)
  HTML http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-x-BUILD-A-BALL-PLANT-SUPPORT-FRUIT-CAGES-CLOCHE-NET-/360604474108?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Garden_Plants_Weed_Pest_Control_CV&hash=item53f5b39afc
get those build a ball thingys and either aluminium pipe or
canes, i reckoned it would save the hassle of getting hide poles
into stony ground, etc, also would be easy to make any size of
hide you wanted simply by using more balls (minds out of the
gutter lads... ::) lol), poles and nets. would have tried it but
i picked up a cheap pop up hide on ebay and never got aound to
trying these out, mite give it a go later in the year tho :-X

I've used rabbits b4 as bait for crows (lie them belly up
showing the white) then once you have a few crows use them as
decoys with stiff wire to steady them.
It's not the handiest but is cheap!!
