       A question of safety

Here's a good tip for you rifle shooters with moderators. A lot
of moderators can come loose on the barrel while you are
shooting, and this destroys your grouping as the bullet can then
touch the inside of the moderator (only takes 1/2-1 turn which
happens easily) and if you don't notice it you will be missing,
and by quite a wide margin, which will very dangerous if
shooting flat across a field (instead of hitting the ground
maybe 200 metres away, you might end up with upwards deflection
resulting in a bullet coming down 800-1,000 metres away instead.
The fix for this is simple. Get some PTFE tape (used by plumbers
and gas fitters) and give 3-4 turn around the threads before
fitting the moderator to the barrel.
Do this EVERY TIME when you remove and refit the moderator,
       whether fired or not.
Its not expensive, 10 x 10 metres rolls of the stuff only cost
£3.99 including P&P from EBAY, so will probably last me a
lifetime ( well, about 5-6 years i would think ) LOL.

No problem, had it happen twice in the last year, so decided to
       cure it LOL
