Aye and it will probably be -10 before the end of the month.
This was a beautiful day. It was nice driving home from work at
1 with the window down and elbow hanging out the door. Though
thats the way you have to drive a landrover and nothing do do
with the weather.

Thats a shame, Ive only tried it a few times but I think
ferreting is one of the best types of shooting available. Very
exciting.

Mate came up but broke his scope lamp as we got the kit out, so
seeing as he was my guest I forewent my shooting and ensured he
got a shot by doing the lamping and calling.
Called stacks, but only one committed intO a place that was safe
to shoot (lot of cattle and sheep about)
Dog fox cub, but head got smashed and almost took a leg off too
Here's a photo of it
Rifle is my mates Steyr in 22-250

Lads it's way to early to be looking for spring, its only the
middle of February and as a rule of thumb when we get good spell
of weather too soon we suffer for it the rest of the summer.
Lets get the rest of winter over first and then maybe we could
look forward to a good summer
