was out today, again disappointing, rose only one bird and was
half asleep because of the inactive hunt, issed it clean with
the first shot and it was gone after that, things must get
better!!

was out yestersay flushed 3 woodcock got a shot at 2 and 2
kills apart from that was a poor showing of woodcock

Took the dogs a walk this morning before dinner near Dunloy,
flushed 5 in 2 hours. Saw a couple of guys in the distance
shooting over springers didnt hear many shots though.

wasn't one about the Castle in Gilford yesterday -- I think the
early birds have had a rest & a feed and moved on a bit. anyone
else think the birds do this ?

hope this uploads.
rose two on monday never got a shot of at the first 1(forgot how
quick they dissapear lol) ::) hunted on about 30yrds and rose
another this time i wasnt sleeping :) and dropped him first
shot the wee dog had a good blind retrieve well chuffed with my
opener for the season. hunted on but
never put anything else up.
