If you are going to get one, get a good one to start with. And
don't pay for a name brand one, they are all made in china. Mine
cost £83.00, ranges small objects to 400 metres, fox sized to
800-900 and house sized to 16-1700 metres.
Its not brand named, it doesn't have any name on it, but is the
unbranded one of a very expensive e my local shop sells (the
       branded one) at £450.00 lol
This would be the minimum required normally

And this is the One I have, but he's almost doubled the price as
he sells so many, and decided he would cash in as everyone else
       charges lots more lol

I got a hawke one for Xmas...
The 400m version and its working really well out to rim fire
       ranges and beyond...
Pleasantly surprised at the small size and low weight too...

They are all small and very light nowadays. The most weight is
the battery lol, and that's lithium. Most use a CR2 battery but
check which you need, as usually its not supplied with the
rangefinder, so would advise ordering a couple at the same time
       ;D

Thing is you need to think of the future. Buy a good one now,
and you won't need to sell it at a loss and buy another better
one later. UK sellers AR okay, but you will pay double, treble,
or even quadruple the price that you pay in china, and they
don't go wrong unless you drop it on concrete, which isn't
covered by guarantee anyways lol ;D
